“Statin Nation II: What Really Causes Heart Disease?” is the sequel to the documentary Statin Nation: The Great Cholesterol Cover-up.”  However, it stands well on its own, even if you didn’t see the original film.

For many decades, the idea that saturated fats caused heart disease reigned supreme, and diets shifted sharply away from saturated animal fats such as butter and lard, toward partially hydrogenated vegetable oils and margarine.

However, as people abandoned saturated fats and replaced them with trans fats, rates of heart disease continued on a steady upward climb.  And, the more aggressive the recommendations for low-fat diets, the worse this trend became.

Last year, butter consumption in the US reached a 40-year peak, and the resurgence of butter has been attributed to a shift in consumer preferences away from processed foods and back toward natural foods.

This is a positive trend, showing that the old myth claiming that saturated fat is bad for you is finally starting to crumble.  People are also starting to recognize that refined sugar is far worse for your heart than dietary fat was, and processed low-fat foods are typically loaded with sugar.

The French Paradox

According to the film, the long held view that saturated fats and cholesterol caused heart disease came under closer scrutiny in the 1990s, when researchers like Kurt Ellison with the Boston University started taking notice of what became known as the French Paradox.

The French eat a lot more fat than many other nations, yet they don’t have higher rates of heart disease.

For example, in the UK people on average eat 13.5 percent of their total calories as saturated fat, whereas the French eat 15.5 percent saturated fat, yet their rate of heart disease deaths is about one-third of that in the UK — just 22 heart disease deaths per 100,000 compared to 63 per 100,000 in the UK.

Icelanders also consume higher amounts of saturated fat — on average 14.6 percent, but their rate of heart disease deaths is also lower than the UK, just 34 per 100,000.

The film reviews a number of statistics from other countries, including Denmark, Lithuania, and Portugal, which defy the idea that saturated fat consumption is associated with heart disease.  The data simply doesn’t bear this out.

Here’s another startling example.  The American Heart Association recommends keeping your saturated fat consumption below seven percent of your total calories, ideally around 5 or 6 percent.

Lithuania is very close to being on target, with a saturated fat consumption rate of 7.7 percent of total calories, yet Lithuania has one of the highest heart disease mortality rates in the world — 122 per 100,000.

Cholesterol Is Not a Major Factor in Heart Disease

Like saturated fat, cholesterol has also been wrongly demonized despite the fact that 60 years’ worth of research has utterly failed to demonstrate any correlation between high cholesterol and heart disease.

Despite this, many, even most health professionals still cling to the idea that cholesterol raises your risk for heart disease, and that strategies that lower cholesterol also lower your heart disease risk.

Fortunately, limitations for cholesterol will likely be removed from the 2015 edition of Dietary Guidelines for Americans, which would be a welcomed change.

Cholesterol is actually one of the most important molecules in your body; indispensable for the building of cells and for producing stress and sex hormones, as well as vitamin D.

It’s also important for brain health, and helps with the formation of your memories.  Low levels of HDL cholesterol have been linked to memory loss and Alzheimer’s disease, and may also increase your risk of depression, stroke, violent behavior, and suicide.

What You Need to Understand About HDL and LDL Cholesterol

While cholesterol is typically divided into HDL/”good” and LDL/”bad” cholesterol,” there’s really only one kind of cholesterol.  The division into HDL and LDL is based on how the cholesterol combines with protein particles.

LDL and HDL are lipoproteins, meaning fats combined with proteins.  Cholesterol is fat-soluble, and blood is mostly water, so for it to be transported in your blood, cholesterol needs to be carried by a lipoprotein, which is classified by density.

Large LDL particles are not harmful.  Only small dense LDL particles can potentially be a problem, as they can squeeze through the lining of your arteries.  If they oxidize, they can cause damage and inflammation.

Thus, it would be more accurate to say that there are “good” and “bad” lipoproteins (opposed to good and bad cholesterol).  Dr. Stephen Sinatra, a board certified cardiologist, and Chris Kresser, L.Ac., an integrative medicine clinician, have both addressed this issue in previous interviews.

Some groups, such as the National Lipid Association, are now starting to shift the focus toward LDL particle number instead of total and LDL cholesterol, in order to better assess your heart disease risk.  But this approach has not yet spread into the mainstream.

Statins Are Prescribed Based on an Incorrect Hypothesis

Since the cholesterol hypothesis is false, this also means that the recommended therapies — low-fat, low-cholesterol diet, and cholesterol lowering medications — are doing more harm than good.
Statin treatment, for example, is largely harmful, costly, and has transformed millions of people into patients whose health is being adversely impacted by the drug
.  As previously noted by Dr. Frank Lipman:1

“[T]he medical profession is obsessed with lowering your cholesterol because of misguided theories about cholesterol and heart disease.  Why would we want to lower it when the research2 actually shows that three-quarters of people having a first heart attack, have normal cholesterol levels, and when data over 30 years from the well-known Framingham Heart Study3 showed that in most age groups, high cholesterol wasn’t associated with more deaths?

In fact, for older people, deaths were more common with low cholesterol. The research is clear – statins are being prescribed based on an incorrect hypothesis, and they are not harmless.”

Statins Can Wreck Your Health in a Number of Ways

The film points out that research shows statins promote calcification of your arteries, and even though arterial calcification increases heart disease, these studies seem to be largely ignored by mainstream health professionals. Sherif Sultan, a professor of Vascular and Endovascular surgery who is featured in the film, notes that many people have in fact improved their health by getting off statins.

That certainly doesn’t surprise me, considering the fact that studies have discovered a wide variety of problems associated with statin use, and virtually all of these problems are being downplayed or ignored altogether by conventional medicine.

Odds are actually very high — greater than 100 to one — that if you’re currently taking a statin, you probably don’t need it.  Based on my own review of the evidence, the ONLY subgroup that might benefit from statins are those born with a genetic defect called familial hypercholesterolemia.  Dr. Sinatra believes males with obstructions in their left anterior descending coronary artery might also benefit.  For all others, statins are more likely to do you harm than good.

For example, research shows that statins:

Deplete your body of CoQ10

Statins deplete your body of CoQ10, which accounts for many of their devastating results. Although it was proposed to add a black box warning to statins stating this, the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) decided against it in 2014.  If you take a statin, you MUST take supplemental CoQ10, or better, the reduced form called ubiquinol.

Increase insulin resistance

Insulin resistance promotes chronic inflammation in your body, and inflammation is the hallmark of most diseases.  In fact, increased insulin resistance can lead to heart disease, which, ironically, is the primary reason for taking a cholesterol-reducing drug in the first place.  It can also promote belly fat, high blood pressure, heart attacks, chronic fatigue, thyroid disruption, and diseases such as Parkinson’s, Alzheimer’s, and cancer.

Increase diabetes risk

By raising your blood sugar, statins also increase your diabetes risk.  When you eat a meal that contains starches and sugar, some of the excess sugar goes to your liver, which then stores it away as cholesterol and triglycerides.  Statins work by preventing your liver from making cholesterol.  As a result, your liver returns the sugar to your bloodstream, which raises your blood sugar levels.

Drug-induced diabetes and genuine type 2 diabetes are not necessarily identical.  If you’re on a statin drug and find that your blood glucose is elevated, it’s possible that what you have is just hyperglycemia — a side effect, and the result of your medication.

Unfortunately, many doctors will at that point mistakenly diagnose you with “type 2 diabetes,” and possibly prescribe another drug, when all you may need to do is simply discontinue the statin in order for your blood glucose levels to revert back to normal.

Inhibit synthesis of vitamin K2

By inhibiting the synthesis and function of vitamin K2 in your body, statins can raise your risk for atherosclerosis, heart failure, stroke, and other health problems.  If you take a statin, a vitamin K2 supplement (MK7) is highly recommended.

Reduces squalene

Squalene reduction caused by the statin can also raise your risk of immune system dysfunction.

Interfere with the mevalonate pathway

The mevalonate pathway is the central pathway for the steroid management in your body.

Damage mitochondria

Statins are toxic to the energy centers of your cells, called mitochondria.  They impair heart muscle mitochondria function, disrupt ATP production (adenosine triphosphate, the energy molecules of your body), and alter intracellular signaling proteins.

Interfere with selenium-containing proteins

Selenoproteins, such as glutathione peroxidase, are crucial for preventing oxidative damage in your muscle tissue.  Blocking glutathione peroxidase unleashes free radicals and inflammation, which can damage muscle tissue, including your heart muscle.

What REALLY Causes Heart Disease?

Statins really have nothing to do with reducing your heart disease risk.  In fact, this class of drugs can actually increase your risk for heart problems — especially if you do not take ubiquinol (CoQ10) along with it to mitigate the depletion of CoQ10 caused by the drug.  Taking extra vitamin K2 is also advisable.

Statins decrease CoQ10 for the identical reason they lower cholesterol, they impair the pathway your liver uses to make both of them.  I believe this is probably its greatest toxicity as CoQ10 is absolutely essential for mitochondrial health.  My new passion is understanding this at a fine molecular level as I’m convinced it is the core for the treatment and prevention of most cancers and the slowing down of the aging process.  So if you are concerned about these issues, then I couldn’t warn you more strongly to avoid statins.

Knowing that saturated fat and cholesterol have nothing to do with heart disease finally frees you to take a serious look at what does cause this potentially lethal condition.  While the film focuses on how things such as cortisol, stress, and telomeres can influence heart disease, for most people heart disease is a result of poor lifestyle choices; some of the most important of which include the following.  All of these things are well within your control, and don’t cost much (if any) money to address.

A diet too high in sugar, trans fat, and oxidized cholesterol, and too low in healthy fats

Added sugars, and processed fructose in particular, are a primary driver of metabolic dysfunction and heart disease. One recent 15-year long study, which included data for 31,000 Americans, found that those who consumed 25 percent or more of their daily calories as sugar were more than twice as likely to die from heart disease as those who got less than 10 percent of their calories from sugar.

On the whole, the odds of dying from heart disease rose in tandem with the percentage of added sugar in the diet regardless of the age, sex, physical activity level, and body-mass index.

Trans fat may promote heart disease to an even greater degree than sugar. Structurally, trans fats are synthetic fatty acids produced during the hydrogenation process. (They are not present in either animal or vegetable fats.) Trans fats prevent the synthesis of prostacyclin, which is necessary to keep your blood flowing. When your arteries cannot produce prostacyclin, blood clots form, and you may succumb to sudden death.

Also, while dietary cholesterol is fine, oxidized cholesterol is not. Oxidized cholesterol forms when polyunsaturated vegetable oils (such as soybean, corn, and sunflower oils) are heated.  This oxidized cholesterol causes increased thromboxane formation — a factor that clots your blood.

So, if you want to protect your heart, avoid all hydrogenated oils and vegetable oils, and replace them with healthy saturated fats such as coconut and coconut oil, avocados, butter, animal fats like lard, and raw nuts.

Lack of exercise

Exercise protects against heart disease primarily by normalizing your insulin and leptin levels, and it is indeed potent medicine.  A 2013 meta-review, which included 305 randomized controlled trials and nearly 339,300 people, found “no statistically detectable differences” between exercise and medications for heart disease, including statins.

Lack of sun exposure

Vitamin D is very important for reducing hypertension, atherosclerotic heart disease, heart attack, and stroke. In one study, vitamin D deficiency increased the risk of heart attack by 50 percent.  What’s worse, if you have a heart attack and you’re vitamin D deficient, your risk of dying from that heart attack creeps up to nearly 100 percent. Ideally, you want to maintain a vitamin D level of 50 to 70 ng/ml year-round, or 70 to 100 ng/ml if you’re trying to treat heart disease.

Lack of grounding to the earth

Grounding effectively alleviates inflammation because it thins your blood and infuses you with negatively charged ions through the soles of your feet.  It also helps thin your blood by improving its zeta potential, which means it improves the energy between your red blood cells.

Research has demonstrated it takes about 80 minutes for the free electrons from the earth to reach your blood stream and transform your blood.  Since heart disease is primarily caused by inflammation, regularly grounding yourself to the earth is a simple way to combat inflammation without spending a penny.

Identifying Risk Factors for Heart Disease

If you want to understand what causes heart disease, you have to look at what causes damage to your artery walls, interferes in disease processes, and causes blood clotting.  When the endothelial wall is damaged, repair mechanisms are set into motion, creating a “scab.”  To prevent this scab from dislodging, the endothelial wall grows over it, causing the area to become thickened.  This is what is called atherosclerosis.

There’s no fat (cholesterol) “clogging the pipe” at all; rather the arterial wall is thickened as a result of your body’s natural repair process.  So what causes damage to your arteries?

One of the primary culprits is sugar and fructose in particular.  So eating a high sugar diet is a sure-fire way to put heart disease on your list of potential health problems.  Meanwhile, total cholesterol will tell you virtually nothing about your disease risk, unless it’s exceptionally elevated (above 330 or so, which would be suggestive of familial hypercholesterolemia, which, in my view, would be about the only time a cholesterol-reducing drug would be appropriate).

Two ratios that are far better indicators of heart disease risk are:

·        Your HDL/total cholesterol ratio: HDL percentage is a very potent heart disease risk factor.  Just divide your HDL level by your total cholesterol.  This percentage should ideally be above 24 percent.  Below 10 percent, it’s a significant indicator of risk for heart disease.

·        Your triglyceride/HDL ratios: This ratio should ideally be below 2.

Additional risk factors for heart disease include:

·        Your fasting insulin level: Any meal or snack high in carbohydrates like fructose and refined grains generates a rapid rise in blood glucose and then insulin to compensate for the rise in blood sugar.  The insulin released from eating too many carbs promotes fat and makes it more difficult for your body to shed excess weight, and excess fat, particularly around your belly, is one of the major contributors to heart disease.

·        Your fasting blood sugar level: Studies have shown that people with a fasting blood sugar level of 100 to 125 mg/dl had a nearly 300 percent increase higher risk of having coronary heart disease than people with a level below 79 mg/dl.  I personally believe your fasting blood sugar should be below 80 and is something that you should regularly monitor.  You don’t need a doctor’s order for it as you can easily purchase blood (finger prick) tests on Amazon.  I personally check mine and my blood ketone levels on a regular basis.

·        Your iron level: Iron can be a very potent driver of oxidative stress, so if you have excess iron levels you can damage your blood vessels and increase your risk of heart disease.  Ideally, you should monitor your ferritin levels and make sure they are not much above 80 ng/ml.  The simplest way to lower them if they are elevated is to donate your blood.  If that is not possible you can have a therapeutic phlebotomy and that will effectively eliminate the excess iron from your body.

Move over apple cider, you may have met your match in the vinegar world. Introducing coconut vinegar. I have to admit, I had never tried coconut vinegar before now. I love, love, love coconut oil and use it daily. I cook with coconut sugar and coconut flour, and drink coconut water… but coconut vinegar is entirely new to me.

So, I did expect it to taste a bit like coconuts, but it actually tastes like a milder version of apple cider vinegar with a hint of sweetness. It doesn’t have that “knock your socks off” burn that you get with apple cider vinegar, but rather has a nice mild and highly palatable taste.

How is raw coconut vinegar made?

Cheap rip-off imitations of the real thing use coconut water and are often less expensive than coconut vinegar made from coconut nectar, also known as purong tuba. Regarded as the “Champagne of Vinegars,” coconut vinegar made from coconut flower nectar is insanely nutritious and has a unique taste that is far beyond vinegars made with diluted coconut water.

To make coconut vinegar, the flowering stems of the coconut blossom are tapped to yield coconut nectar. Fermentation takes anywhere between 45–60 days. After this, the unfiltered and unheated vinegar is bottled. As the vinegar ages, its color changes from white to a light yellow, and then to a clear brown as it matures.

The “mother”

We have talked a lot about the “mother” found in apple cider vinegar. Well, raw coconut vinegar actually contains a similar live body. The cloudy and somewhat cobweb-like structure that you see at the bottom of the bottle is endearingly referred to as the “mother” because of its life-giving properties.

As the vinegar ages, the mother becomes more pronounced, and if you hold the vinegar bottle to the light you can almost always see the makings of the mother — usually suspended close to the bottom of the jar. In the mother are valuable nutrients and beneficial bacteria that make unprocessed coconut vinegar so special.

Health benefits of raw coconut vinegar

Just like its rival, apple cider vinegar, coconut vinegar has some tremendous nutritional benefits that make this vinegar shine!

It contains 17 amino acids

Coconut sap contains all of the nine essential acids and more. These essential acids are the building blocks of protein, and since proteins are a component of every living cell inside your body, they are pretty important. Amino acids are also necessary for the production of hemoglobin, which transports oxygen, and the formation of antibodies which keep your immune system functioning as it should. In addition, amino acids help to repair tissue, assist in both detoxification and metabolic functions and serve as neurotransmitters, conveying messages in the brain.

It is loaded with minerals

Coconut trees are generally grown in rich volcanic soil that contains abundant minerals. Within the sap itself you will find the following minerals: potassium, iron, magnesium, sulfur, boron, manganese, zinc and phosphorus. Raw coconut vinegar is especially impressive in the amount of potassium it contains — a whopping 192 milligrams per tablespoon. Potassium is necessary for balancing electrolytes, managing high blood pressure and metabolizing sugar.

Phosphorus pairs with calcium to build strong bones and plays a critical role in the body’s ability to use other nutrients. Of course, iron is needed for the creation of red blood cells and cellular energy, and copper helps with iron absorption. Magnesium is essential in nerve and muscle function, along with playing a role in just about every major biological process in the body.

It is high in vitamin C

Vitamin C (ascorbic acid) is an antioxidant that is required for three hundred metabolic processes in the human body, including tissue growth and repair, adrenal gland function and healthy gums. Vitamin C also aids in the production of anti-stress hormones, and interferon — a vital immune system protein. It is needed to metabolize folic acid, tyrosine, and phenylalanine.

It contains broad spectrum B vitamins

Coconut vinegar is  an excellent source of B vitamins, which are essential for a variety of metabolic functions in the body and are especially key in nervous system function.

It has a neutral pH

Disease actually comes from within and is the result of poorly balanced blood chemistry. We have become an overly acidic nation by consuming highly processed foods and very few healthy, alkalizing foods. An acidic body is vulnerable to germs, and even though our internal systems fight to keep an alkaline environment, they become overwhelmed and chaos ensues.

Proper diet is the only way to keep a healthy acid/base balance — there is no other way. Since food is the fuel for the body, it is wise to spend some time thinking about just what we fuel our bodies with.

Over-acidity is, for the most part, a result of the choices we make. With this understanding, we can begin making good choices at any time. Rebalancing the body is like getting a second chance. Catching the signs of imbalance early makes it easier to regain health — before organs begin to fall apart.

Understand that if you suffer from such things as chronic pain, headaches, irritability, fatigue, allergies, sinus problems or mental fogginess, your body is giving you a clue. The first step in balancing body chemistry is fueling the body with alkaline foods.

It is enzyme rich

When it comes to good health, digestive enzymes are a necessity. Simply put, digestive enzymes break down food so our body can use it.  If we are lacking in digestive enzymes (which most of us are), we lose the nutritional value of any food we eat. Because most people eat more cooked and processed food than raw food, many of the enzymes are destroyed. Adding even just a little bit of raw coconut vinegar to your diet can help tremendously with digestive health and immunity.

Prebiotics are nutritional fibers that cannot be digested by the human digestive system. They are complex chains of sugars that travel through the stomach and small intestine 90 percent whole and arrive in the large intestine, where they serve as food for probiotic bacteria.

There are two main types of prebiotic fiber: fructo-oligosaccharides (FOS) and galacto-oligosaccharides (GOS). Inulin is one of the most commonly known prebiotics and belongs to the FOS group. The other most promising type of prebiotic is oligofructose.

One of the main benefits of prebiotics is their ability to feed desirable probiotic bacteria. This is done through a fermentation process. Many types of bacteria are able to ferment and metabolize prebiotic fiber, but lactobacilli and bifidobacteria in particular have been observed to thrive on prebiotics. You may recognize those species from the back of a yogurt container or probiotics supplement label. These are two of the main species that help us to digest food properly and excrete what’s left over as waste.

Prebiotics were first identified by scientists in 1995, and since then many studies have been performed to evaluate their therapeutic effects. In studies where people consumed prebiotics, it was observed that their gut microbiome shifted toward containing more beneficial bacteria and fewer pathogens (disease-causing microorganisms).

This shift toward a healthier microbiome can create many benefits in the human body.

Scientists have found that using prebiotics increases the ability to absorb minerals such as calcium and magnesium. Magnesium, in particular, is lacking in the diet of a large percentage of the population.

Prebiotics are also able to strengthen immune function enough to combat recalcitrant bacterial conditions such as bacterial vaginosis, recurrent urinary tract infections, pertussis, pneumonia, andH. pylori.

It is low glycemic

One of the really nice things about coconut vinegar is that it is incredibly low on the glycemic index — only 35 on the scale.  The glycemic index measures how much a carbohydrate-containing food raises blood sugar. While there are many foods on the market with hidden sugar that rate high on the glycemic index — including things like salad dressing — the good news is, coconut vinegar is not one of them.

Ways to use this nutritionally rich tonic

Because I am a salad lover, I went straight for using coconut vinegar for salad dressing, and it was amazing. This versatile vinegar can also be added to sauces and condiments, or used for cooking and dipping. You can also take one or two tablespoons medicinally in a cup of warm water with a touch of honey.

Be sure that you purchase only raw organic coconut vinegar with no additives.

According to a published study by the British Medical Journal, tooth decay can be healed with diet.

62 children were split into three groups for a study on nutrition and cavities. Group 1 ate a traditional diet with the addition of oatmeal rich phytic acid. 

Group 2 ate a traditional diet with the addition of a Vitamin D supplement. Group 3 ate a grain-free diet with the addition of a Vitamin D supplement as well.

The study found that the children in group 1 actually had an increase in cavities. Group 2 had improvement in current tooth decay and less formation of new decay. Group 3 had the greatest dental improvement and nearly all cavities were healed.

How does tooth decay occur

Weston Price lived in the 1900’s and was a pioneer of the American Dental Association. He traveled the world to find the cause of tooth decay. Price found a common link between modern foods and cavities. 

The isolated indigenous tribes Price visited had perfect teeth with little tooth decay. But once they began eating a western diet, they began to experience bone loss, chronic illnesses and tooth decay.

Avoid sugar

Avoid phytic acid

Humans have cultivated and used the flowering tops of the female cannabis plant, known colloquially as marijuana, since history was recorded. Archaeologists in Central Asia even found over 2 pounds of cannabis in a 2,700 year-old grave of a shaman.

Written and pictorial evidence of cannabis use is scattered throughout numerous cultures indicating a wide acceptance and use of the plant for thousands of years.

Drug Classification Halts Use 

Federal prohibitions outlawing the therapeutic and recreational use of cannabis were first imposed by Congress with the Marijuana Tax Act of 1937. Later, the plant’s organic compounds (cannabinoids) were classified as a Schedule I substance under the Controlled Substances Act of 1970.

This classification puts the plant in the same pool as heroin and states that cannabis possesses “a high potential for abuse … no currently accepted medical use … [and] a lack of accepted safety for the use of the drug … under medical supervision.”

In contrast, cocaine and methamphetamine – illegal for recreational use, may be consumed under a doctors supervision and are classified as Schedule II drugs. Examples of Schedule III and IV drugs include anabolic steroids and Valium. Analgesics that contain codeine are defined by law as Schedule V drugs, the most lenient classification.

In Support of Therapeutic Use 

Federal lawmakers continue to use the dated drug classification as a means to defend the criminalization of marijuana. However, there appears to be very little scientific basis for the categorization of the plant. As its prohibition has passed 75 years, researchers continue to study the therapeutic properties of cannabis.

There are over 20,000 published reviews and studies in scientific literature that pertain to the cannabis plant and its cannabinoids, almost one-third of these have been published in the last 4 years. A keyword search on PubMed Central (the US government library of peer-reviewed scientific research) shows 2,100 studies alone since 2011.

Modern culture is now catching up on what our ancestors knew, and public opinion and relaxing state legislation are leading the way for more people to use medicinal marijuana for a wide number of medical conditions. At present, marijuana for medical purposes is legal in 20 states and the District of Columbia.

While the debate continues to boil at both state and federal levels, there has been a strong and growing trend of acceptance related to the growing body of scientific evidence indicating that marijuana may indeed contain some powerful medicinal properties that we would be foolish to overlook.

If you only buy one fruit that’s organic, make it an apple. Here are 7 important reasons why:

1) Conventionally grown apples have more pesticide residue on them than any other fruit or vegetable. According to the U.S. Food and Drug Administration, more pesticides are found on apples than on any other fruit or vegetable: a whopping 36!! In one study, as many as seven chemicals were detected on a single apple.

2) Pesticides can make us sick. “With most (but not all) pesticides, the more a person is exposed to a particular substance, the greater the chance of harm,” warns the  California Department of Pesticide Regulation. For example, “Two aspirin may get rid of your headache but an entire bottle will make you sick. And for some people, aspirin may be harmful even at low doses. The degree of harm depends on the chemical, the situation, and the person. The same is true of pesticides.” BeyondPesticides offers this useful list of the links between pesticide exposure and cancer, including  cancers of the bladder, colon, brain and breast. The evidence also links pesticide exposure to ADHD, neurological problems, birth defects, fetal death and neurodevelopmental disorders.

3) Pesticides can make farm workers sick.  California’s Pesticide Regulation Department notes that people can be exposed to pesticides in three ways: by breathing it, by getting it into their mouths or digestive tract and by coming into contact with their skin or eyes. Acute (immediate) health effects of pesticide exposure include rash, eye irritation, dizziness, nausea, vomiting and headaches, reports FarmWorkerJustice.org. More serious acute effects include difficulty breathing, seizures, loss of consciousness and death. Chronic (long-term) effects can result in cancer, neurological disorders, hormonal and reproductive health problems, birth defects and infertility. Even low levels of pesticide exposure over time can lead to these chronic health effects, says the non-profit group.

4) Pesticides harm fish, birds and biodiversity. Pesticides used in managing orchards may harm wildlife directly or indirectly, reports North Carolina State University. Wildlife can become sick or die when they are exposed to highly toxic agrichemicals. Some animals are exposed to pesticides when they eat the residues on plants and in insects. Eggs and young birds in nests may be exposed during spraying operations. Wildlife sickened by pesticides may neglect their young, abandon their nests and become more susceptible to predation and disease. Those are the direct consequences of pesticide contamination. Pesticides also indirectly affect wildlife in several ways. For example, ”insecticides that drift into a stream can kill aquatic invertebrates and reduce food supplies for ducks or fish,” says NCSU. Herbicides intended to suppress weeds may inadvertently drift into wildlife habitats and reduce plants that animals rely on for food.

5) Non-organic apples are aiding the spread of GMOs into our food system. The USDA has given permission to one fruit company to market two varieties of GMO apples, reports Environmental Working Group, which has put apples on the top of its Dirty Dozen list of non-organic fruits and veggies. The apples are “designed” not to turn brown. However, they may require more pesticides to grow. Say “no” to GMOs, including apples.

6) Buying organic apples creates a habit for buying other organic food. Organic apples provide a great “gateway” into organic eating. They are widely available, affordable and can help demonstrate to the doubters that organic food tastes just as delicious as conventionally grown food.

7) The more you buy organic, the more organic options you’ll have. Only about 6 percent of all apples grown in the U.S. are produced organically. However, according to the U.S. Department of Agriculture, “While U.S. acreage and production of apples has declined in recent years, consumer demand has spurred a fast-growing organic apple sector.” The way you spend your money makes a difference. The more you demand and buy organic apples, the more organic apples will be grown.

Buying Tips:

* Buy organic apples in season, when they’re usually the same price as conventionally grown apples.

* Eat organic apples all year long by freezing, canning and drying them.

* Learn to tolerate imperfect apples! Some chemicals are applied to apples with one purpose only: so they will look perfect. Organic apples may have a little bruise here or there, or even a  tiny bug bite. Of course, you don’t want to buy an apple you can’t eat. But if it’s just a small blemish? Eat around it, knowing every bite is safe and healthy.

* Wash all apples before eating them. You don’t need to use soap or one of those commercial food washes; just hold the fruit under running water and scrub lightly with some kind of scratchy pad you use only for washing fruit and veggies. ELECTROMAGNETIC HYPERSENSITIVITY

History

During the 1950s clinics were established in Moscow, Leningrad, and other cities in the Soviet Union and Eastern Europe to study and treat thousands of workers suffering from a new occupational disease.  It was named radio wave sickness.  These patients manufactured, inspected, repaired or operated microwave equipment.  Some worked at radar facilities, others for radio or TV stations, or telephone companies.  Still others operated radio frequency heaters and sealers being used in an expanding number of industries using technology developed during World War II.

The patients at these clinics suffered from headaches, fatigue, weakness, sleep disturbance, irritability, dizziness, memory difficulty, sexual dysfunction, and occasionally sensitivity to sunlight.  Some had heart palpitations, stabbing pains in the region of the heart, or shortness of breath after exertion.  Many developed emotional instability, anxiety or depression, and a few had symptoms of mania or paranoia.  On physical exam they had objective findings including acrocyanosis (blue fingers and toes), decreased sensitivity to odors, sweating, tremors, altered reflexes, unequal pupil size, heart arrhythmias, and unstable pulse and blood pressure.  They showed abnormalities on EEG and EKG, and, in advanced stages, signs of oxygen deprivation to the heart and brain.

Most clinicians reported that about 15% of microwave workers developed symptoms of radio wave sickness, and that about 2% had to permanently cease working (Sadchikova 1960, Klimková-Deutschová 1973).

These workers were exposed to microwave radiation only during working hours.  And they were exposed to levels of radiation that were less than what the general public is exposed to now for hours per day, or even all the time, from cell phone and wireless Internet technologies.

Because of the large number of publications about radio wave sickness coming out of the Soviet Union and Eastern Europe, a US/USSR scientific exchange on microwave radiation research was begun in the mid-1970s.  And the US government contracted with Dr. Zorach Glaser to catalog the world scientific literature—journal articles, books, conference proceedings—on reported biological and health effects of radio frequency and microwave radiation.  By the end of the 1970s, Glaser’s bibliography included 5,083 documents (Glaser 1984).

 Also during the 1960s and 1970s, ophthalmologist Milton Zaret, under contract with the Army and the Air Force, examined the eyes of thousands of military and civilian personnel working at radar installations in the US and Greenland.  Large numbers of them, he found, were developing cataracts.  Most of these cataracts were caused by chronic exposure of the eye to radiation at power densities around one milliwatt per square centimeter—a level which is regularly exceeded by each of the two and a half billion cell phones in use today (Birenbaum et al. 1969; Zaret 1973).

 During those years American biologist Allan Frey discovered that microwave radiation damages the blood-brain barrier (Frey et al. 1975), and he proved that humans and animals can hear microwaves (Frey 1961).  One of the most active American researchers during the 1960s and 1970s, Frey caused rats to become docile by irradiating them at a power density of 50 microwatts per square centimeter (Frey and Spector 1976).
He altered specific behaviors at 8 microwatts per square centimeter (Frey and Wesler 1979).
He altered the heart rate of live frogs at 3 microwatts per square centimeter (Frey 1970).
At only 0.6 microwatts per square centimeter, 100 times less than levels commonly encountered today at a normal operating distance from a wireless laptop, he caused frogs’ hearts to develop arrhythmias, and sometimes caused the hearts to stop beating, by timing the microwave pulses at a precise point during the heart’s rhythm (Frey and Seifert 1968).

In 1977 Paul Brodeur, in his book, The Zapping of America, warned that proliferating microwave towers and radar facilities were endangering public health.  But compared to today, microwave and radio facilities were still very rare indeed. 

When in 1977 Apple sold its first personal computers, exposure to high levels of electromagnetic radiation spread to the general population, and electromagnetic illness ceased being only an occupational disease.  In that year deaths from asthma in the US, which had been declining steadily for decades, began to rise for the first time.  In 1981, Representative Al Gore chaired the first of a number of Congressional hearings on the health effects of video display terminals (VDTs).  These were held because two editors at The New York Times, young men in their 20s and 30s, had developed cataracts; half of all surveyed UPI and AP employees were complaining of visual problems or headaches; an unusual number of babies with birth defects had been born to employees at The Toronto Star; and clusters of miscarriages were occurring among female VDT operators all over the U.S. and Canada.  The newspaper industry had been the earliest industry to be transformed by computer technology. During the 1981 hearings by the House Committee on Science and Technology, Charles A. Perlik, Jr., president of the Newspaper Guild, testified that had his membership known that VDTs were capable of dangerous emissions, “We would not have quietly permitted the transformation of an essentially benign workplace into a hazardous one.” 1  In 1985 Canadian author Bob DeMatteo published a popular book titled Terminal Shock: The Health Hazards of Video Display Terminals

In the mid-1980s Olle Johansson, a neuroscientist at the Karolinska Institute in Stockholm, discovered a new skin disease.  Since only people who worked in front of computer screens got it, he named it screen dermatitis.  Such patients often complained also of neurological symptoms such as memory loss, fatigue, insomnia, dizziness, nausea, headache and heart palpitations—the same neurological symptoms written about three decades earlier by Soviet doctors—but since Johansson’s specialty was skin diseases, he studied the skin of computer operators.  His subjects ranged from those with only redness and itching, to those with severe, disfiguring skin lesions.  An organization named Foreningen for El- och Bildskärmsskadade (FEB) was formed as a support group for Swedes suffering from this “new” disease that they called Electromagnetic Hypersensitivity (EHS)—a disease that was not new at all, but was a well-known occupational disease in another part of the world.

In the mid-1990s the telecommunications industry embarked on a project that was to result in the exposure of the entire world to microwave radiation on a previously unimagined scale.  They planned to place a cell phone and a wireless computer in the hands of every man, woman and child on Earth—and to dot our world with so many broadcast antennas that those phones and computers would work in every home and every office, on every street, in every country, on the highest mountain and in the deepest valley, on every lake, in every national park, wilderness area and wildlife refuge, without exception.  And so during the next decade levels of microwave radiation increased roughly a thousand-fold on average, everywhere on Earth.

Coping

Reduction of electric fields, magnetic fields, and electromagnetic radiation, at home and at work, is of the greatest benefit to people with EHS.  In the past this was easier than it is today.

Reduction of fields, or “sanitizing” a building, requires eliminating fluorescent lights, dimmer switches, electronic security systems, electric heaters, and all wireless technology, including cell phones, cordless phones, wireless computers, baby monitors, bluetooth devices, etc.  It may require eliminating or relocating entertainment systems, or equipment with digital displays or digital clocks.  It may require eliminating or shielding televisions and computer monitors.  And it sometimes requires the complete rewiring of a building and the burying of power lines.  Unplugging all electrical devices from their outlets when not in use is recommended, and turning off all circuit breakers, or the mains power supply, at night is  sometimes necessary.  Many people with EHS drive very old cars with minimal electronics, or diesel cars, which can be driven without any electricity. 

However, the spread of wireless technology is making the avoidance of electromagnetic radiation difficult to impossible in many parts of the world.  Reducing the fields originating within a building to zero is no longer sufficient.  Cities and utility companies are changing over to wireless electric, gas and water meters, which can irradiate a whole neighborhood.  The arrival of Broadband over Power Lines (BPL) can mean that it is no longer possible to keep high frequency fields out of your home if you want to have electricity. 

Radiation also comes through the walls from neighbors’ wireless telephone, computer and security systems, from neighborhood cell towers and, increasingly, from large-area wireless Internet (Wi-Fi) systems which are expanding to cover whole cities, counties, and even small countries like Singapore and Macedonia.  Therefore many people are attempting to cope by living in metal structures, or shielding their walls and windows with conductive fabrics, paints and plastics to keep all the microwave radiation out.  This is not always successful.  As Dr. Felix Gad Sulman pointed out (Sulman 1980), the presence of the Earth’s natural electromagnetic fields is necessary for health, therefore an electrically sensitive person in a shielded room would need to have all of the Earth’s natural fields duplicated inside the room, a difficult to impossible task. 

People with EHS are discovering that there is no place left to run to, and that the only solution, if we want to secure a future for ourselves, our children and grandchildren, and for birds and wildlife, is to work together to make widely known and recognized the health effects of electromagnetic fields, until society admits that wireless technology was a terrible mistake and gets rid of it.

Symptoms

Neurological: headaches, dizziness, nausea, difficulty concentrating, memory loss, irritability, depression, anxiety, insomnia, fatigue, weakness, tremors, muscle spasms, numbness, tingling, altered reflexes, muscle and joint pain, leg/foot pain, “flu-like” symptoms, fever.  More severe reactions can include seizures, paralysis, psychosis and stroke.

Cardiac: palpitations, arrhythmias, pain or pressure in the chest, low or high blood pressure, slow or fast heart rate, shortness of breath.

Respiratory: sinusitis, bronchitis, pneumonia, asthma. Dermatological: skin rash, itching, burning, facial flushing. Ophthalmologic: pain or burning in the eyes, pressure in/behind the eyes, deteriorating vision, floaters, cataracts.

Auditory: Chirping, buzzing, or ringing in the ears; hearing loss.

Others: digestive problems; abdominal pain; enlarged thyroid, testicular/ovarian pain; sexual dysfunction; dryness of lips, tongue, mouth, eyes; great thirst; dehydration; nosebleeds; internal bleeding; elevated blood sugar; immune system abnormalities; redistribution of metals within the body; hair loss; pain in the teeth; deteriorating fillings; impaired sense of smell; light sensitivity.

Terminology

Because health authorities do not recognize this condition, there is no standard name for it.  The following terms have been used:

Affected by electromagnetic fields: A term used in Spanish-speaking countries; “afectados por campos electromagnéticos”.

Electrical injury: The term originally used by the Swedish group FEB; “El- (och Bildskärms)skadade”.

Electrical sensitivity: Widely used in English-speaking countries.

Electromagnetic hypersensitivity: Illness caused by exposure to electromagnetic fields; a term coined by patient support groups.

Microwave sickness: A synonym for radio wave sickness.

Radio wave sickness: An occupational disease, first described after World War II in the Soviet Union, caused by exposure to radio waves.

Screen dermatitis: A skin condition caused by exposure to electromagnetic fields; so called because it was first described among users of VDTs.

   The following terms are suggested as being more accurate:

Acute electrical illness: Acute illness, similar to influenza, caused by exposure to electromagnetic fields, characterized by a sudden breakdown in the electrical systems of the body.

Chronic electrical illness: A chronic condition caused by exposure to electromagnetic fields.  The same as radio wave sickness, except it may be caused by any type of electromagnetic fields, not just radio waves.

Flu Vaccine Comedy For The Season

Well, it’s Halloween tomorrow!  Silly signs, placards, costumes and revelries. People go daft for a day and have fun.
It’s also the vaccine comedy season, with governments having their annual BIG JOKE on us!
Get Your Flu Shot Heresigns are all over the parking lots and at the doors of supermarkets and pharmacies.

Every year the same bunch of corny (laughable) lies are trotted out: millions will be infected, countless deaths, totally safe…
it’s all written up in a massive Big Pharma script that everyone has learned by heart, from nurses and primary care doctors, to government stooges and TV news anchors.
It doesn’t even need rehearsing these days; everyone knows their part and they just roll it out.

It Didn’t Work in 2014

Just one problem: the flu shot last year was a disastrous failure, except for the vast profits it made for Big Pharma.

Now the CDC reports this year’s flu shot may not protect against a strain of influenza that’s hitting the US right now.  Does this mean the flu shot is useless?

“Not at all,” say the medical standup comedians. “Although this year’s flu vaccine doesn’t match two of the three main types of flu strains now in circulation, people who did get a flu shot and catch the flu get a much milder disease…”1

Wait a minute: let’s stop right there.   We’ll try and catch these lies as they attempt to slide them by.

There is no evidence whatsoever for the claim that people get a milder illness.  It’s clinging to straws to justify their epic failure to control this wily disease.

The truth, from independent medical literature reviews, shows that flu shots don’t really modify or prevent influenza or the complications of influenza in adults2 or children3 or indeed any of the influenza-like-illnesses (ILI) associated with other types of viruses that cause about 80% of all respiratory or gastrointestinal infections during any given flu season.

The Lies Roll Out

In the past three flu seasons, the CDC has claimed the flu vaccine’s overall effectiveness was between 47 and 62 percent.4

The joke is they do not have ANY statistics for effectiveness;  it’s a made-up lie.
99.9% of “flu” cases are never tested to confirm that the disease really is influenza.

So how can they possibly argue that patients had the disease or, even more dishonestly, that there was any method whatever to tell if the vaccine was actually effective?

This is criminal lying on a scale that only governments can pull off. Anyone else trying this degree of coercion to sell their product would be jailed for fraud.

But there’s more: in the 2008-2009 season, Canadian researchers noticed in the early weeks of the pandemic that people who got a flu shot seemed to be more likely to get infected with the pandemic virus than people who hadn’t received a flu shot.

Five studies done in several provinces showed the same puzzling and unsettling results.

News of the unexpected findings broke at a time when countries in North America and parts of Europe were getting ready to start vaccinating their populations for 2009 and so this was written off as the “Canadian problem“.  The threat to mass control was averted by this quick thinking.
However, Quebec opted not to offer the seasonal vaccine because of the concerns raised by the studies.5

Microwave Ovens: Scientifically Proven To Be Dangerous And Deadly Posted Oct 30/15

It has long been said that most sickness begins in the kitchen.  Never have truer words been spoken.

There are multiple reasons why this is the case ranging from improper food management to unhygienic cooking practices, from moldy refrigerators to contaminated countertops, from unhealthy food combinations to cooking old dead foods, from salmonella in the poultry to E. Coli in the hamburger.

With the introduction of the microwave oven into virtually every home in America, the kitchen can now be considered a certified crime scene.  Yes, they’re that bad … and much worse than most will ever believe, so accustomed are they to nuking their food on a daily basis.

Should we end this coaching session right here and now? We’d like to but so many are attached to this little EMR & Microwave outputting beast. Truly, the Microwave Oven has become a permanent fixture in virtually every kitchen in America.

What an unmitigated health disaster this has created!

Let’s take a look at the evidence. Not scientific just yet. The real evidence known as nuked food.

How many times have you gone to a restaurant and been served a nuked baked potato? We don’t go to restaurants, and we don’t eat potatoes (they’re nightshades); nevertheless, in years past we have been out and about and have seen the thing they called a baked potato in the many fast ‘food’ restaurants and franchised ‘food’ chains.

Would you eat that baked potato and if so, why would you do such a thing?!?!
Can we end this discussion now or must we go on.

We might as well open this little pandora’s box all the way since we came this far. Since we found a health investigator who has done a great job at assembling some very authoritative evidence against the use of microwaves we have taken the liberty of quoting her article “Microwaving — Dangers to Your Food and You?” quite liberally. As follows:

“In Dr. Lita Lee’s book, “Health Effects of Microwave Radiation – Microwave Ovens,” and in the March and September 1991 issues of Earthletter, she stated that every microwave oven leaks electro-magnetic radiation, harms food and converts substances cooked in it to dangerous organ-toxic and carcinogenic products. Micro ovens are far more harmful than previously imagined. Listed are the many findings of the German and Russian investigators. Here are just a few:

Cancer Causing Effects — Creation of a ‘binding effect’ to radioactivity in the atmosphere, creation of cancer-causing agents within protein hydrolysate compounds, malfunctions within the lymphatic systems, higher percentage of cancerous cells within the blood serum, cancer-causing free radicals, stomach and intestinal cancerous growths, with a gradual breakdown of the function of the digestive and excretive systems.

Decrease In Food Value — Microwave exposure caused significant decreases in the nutritive value of all foods researched. There was a decrease in bioavailability of B-complex vitamins, vitamin C, vitamin E, essential minerals and lipotropics in all foods, a loss of 60 to 90% of the vital energy field of all tested foods, and a marked acceleration of structural disintegration in all foods.

Biological Effects of Exposure — Breakdown of the human “life-energy field,” degeneration and circuit breakdowns within the front portion of the brain where thought and higher functions reside, loss of balance, long term cumulative loss of vital energy and long-lasting residual effects.

The same author has listed many other very good reasons “to throw out your Microwave oven.“:

1. Continually eating food processed from a microwave oven causes long term, permanent, brain damage by ‘shorting out” electrical impulses in the brain (de-polarizing or de-magnetizing the brain tissue).
2. The human body cannot metabolize (breakdown) the unknown by-products created in microwaved food.
3. Male and female hormone production is shut down and/or altered by continually eating microwaved foods.
4. The effects of microwaved food by-products are residual (long term, permanent) within the human body.
5. Minerals, vitamins, and nutrients of all microwaved food is reduced or altered so that the human body gets little or no benefit, or the human body absorbs altered compounds that cannot be broken down.
6. The minerals in vegetables are altered into cancerous free radicals when cooked in microwave ovens.
7. Microwaved foods cause stomach and intestinal cancerous growths (tumors). This may explain the rapid increased rate of colon cancer in America.
8. The prolonged eating of microwaved foods causes cancerous cells to increase in human blood.
9. Continual ingestion of microwaved food causes immune system deficiencies through lymph gland and serum alterations.
10. Eating microwaved food causes loss of memory, concentration, emotional instability, and a decrease of intelligence.” [1]

Are you convinced yet?

Clearly the primary explanation for so many people refusing to listen to the voice of reason or the gut feeling of common sense concerning this extremely serious health matter, is the irresistible convenience that comes with using such a beast … 3 times per day, every day of the week, every month of the year, for life. Now that’s a life sentence, if ever we have seen one meted out to oneself!

Is that you? Hopefully not, because the unintended consequences, collateral damage and toxic side effects of microwave usage completely justify its exile to the global trash heap.

Just in case you still need more evidence we present more quoted material under the heading—”Various Studies on Microwave Cooking

“The most controlled (and scary) research was almost suppressed from public knowledge before being published. Two Swiss researchers sequestered subjects under close scrutiny and blood tests were conducted after the subjects randomly ate food that was either microwaved or conventionally cooked. They found all sorts of potentially nasty stuff:

• Blood hemoglobin levels decreased significantly after ingesting microwaved foods, both total levels and the amount contained in each red blood cell.
• White blood cell levels tended to increase for no other reason than foods were microwaved.
• Microwaves altered protein molecules.
• LDL cholesterol (the ‘bad’ type) increased relative to HDL cholesterol (the ‘good’ type).

The researchers were immediately sued by the “Swiss Association of Dealers for Electroapparatuses for Households and Industry,” and one of the authors was convicted by the Swiss Federal Court of “interfering with commerce.” The fine was the equivalent of $65,000.”

For those who need still more we have the deleterious effects on human milk quoted below:

“In the journal Pediatrics, Apr. 1992, research appeared that warned that microwaving human milk, even at a low setting, can destroy some of its important disease-fighting capabilities. Pediatrician John A. Kerner, Jr. and his co-workers at Stanford University reported that breast milk that was microwaved lost lysozyme activity, antibodies, and fostered the growth of more potentially pathogenic bacteria. Adverse changes at such low temperatures suggest that microwaving itself may in fact cause some injury to the milk above and beyond the heating.”

And then there’s the problem it causes with vitamin B-12:

“A nutrition book published in 2003 states that for most nutrients, microwave heating minimizes losses compared to traditional cooking methods. Such is not the case for vitamin B-12. Microwave heating inactivates vitamin B-12. To preserve this vitamin, use the oven or stovetop instead of the microwave to cook meats and milk products (major sources of vitamin B-12). Many elderly are at risk of B-12 deficiency and shouldn’t microwave meat, milk, eggs or B-12 fortified foods, unless they only occasionally microwave or are getting B-12 in a supplement or fortified cereal.”

“Few people realize that many of the vitamins in food are rapidly being destroyed by cooking. Even fewer know that microwaving destroys vitamins five times more quickly than does regular cooking. After just six minutes of microwaving, nearly half of the vitamin B-12 was destroyed when a Japanese dietitian measured the levels after microwaving. Vitamin B-12 was singled out for study since it is of vital importance in helping to prevent several major diseases that become more common as we grow older, including arteriosclerosis (cholesterol deposits in arteries), heart attacks and strokes. It is also now understood that B-12 deficiency is one of several factors that together often cause dementia (such as Alzheimer’s disease) in older people. Since cooking destroys vitamin B-12, and since older people have trouble absorbing it anyway, experts now recommend that adults take a 1 mg (1,000 micrograms) tablet of vitamin B-12 daily. This greatly overcomes the difficulty older people have in absorbing it. Even at this dosage, vitamin B-12 is harmless, inexpensive, and obtainable without a prescription.”

The same author writes the following concerning “Micowave Cooking in Plastic Containers

“Do not heat food containing fat in a microwave using plastic containers because the combination of fat, high heat and plastics releases dioxins and other toxins into the food and ultimately into your cells. Dioxins are carcinogens and highly toxic.

After researchers studied several commercial plastic containers, compounds such as methylbenzene, ethylbenzene, 1-octene, xylene, styrene and 1,4-dichlorobenzene were found in all of them. Also, the increased output power of modern microwave ovens can cause overheating.

Although cooking of raw foods in a microwave targets an acceptable end product for touch, taste and smell, the process does not address the microbiological safety of the cooked food. Microwave ovens from various commercial suppliers were used to cook naturally contaminated whole raw broiler and roaster chickens according to manufacturers’ instructions. Many of the roasters yielded visible Listeria bacteria after microwave cooking.

Can you believe that so many cavalierly microwave (heat up) their foods and beverages in plastic containers?! As though plastic doesn’t melt or get so hot that it allows for migration of petroleum-based derivatives into the food or beverage contents???

We think that we have provided enough highly credible research for anyone reading this to dispose of their microwave. If you choose to keep it in operation, it may very well significantly contribute to the degradation of your health at the cellular level, tissue level, organ level as well as systemically.

We strongly believe that the rapid increase of so much chronic degenerative disease can be partially attributed to the frequent use of these DANGEROUS devices. They have become so ubiquitous that their detrimental health effects are surely being felt far and wide. The problem – as always – is that the scientific community has avoided this area of research like the plague. Undertaking such research studies would be the best way to demonstrate the direct correlation between microwave use and various medical makers and health stats.

Whereas GreenMedInfo has provided these excellent research studies, the dearth of such scientific research is clearly due to the many and diverse vested interests who ensure that few will likely ever be undertaken … to the great detriment of both individual and collective health.

In the meantime, you, the cook, and you, the eater, can easily avoid the radiation from the device, as well as the negative consequences of eating microwaved food. We have managed to do so for well over 25 years with virtually no inconvenience. However, we’re not at all shy about asking the waitress to ensure that none of our food will be nuked on that rare occasion that we find ourselves at a restaurant.

You know, we dealt very little with the EMR and microwave effects in the ambient living environment when these little beasts are turned on and humming. This is likewise a HUGE issue which poses it’s own list of serious health concerns as presented by many researchers.
How many times have you read that those with pacemakers should not be around microwaves? Given what most of us now know about electro-pollution and the many long term effects of stray voltage, ‘normal’ emr output and 2-way emr overload, do we really need to go there?

A Special Warning to those who nuke water:
Water, by it’s very nature, is extremely impressionable. It possesses different qualities, some of which are far too subtle to measure, but nevertheless important for health reasons.
When water is microwaved, it is profoundly and fundamentally altered on an energetic level which produces chaos in its energy field. How will this translate when nuked tea and coffee water is regularly drank over years? We don’t know. And that’s the problem, we just don’t know.

The Health Coach once worked for a company in Atlanta, GA in the mid-90s. For almost two straight years the owner of the firm was seen to microwave his lunch (a different frozen dinner every day) every afternoon, without exception. Immediately after eating the ‘meal’, he would go into a coughing fit, each and every day, without exception. Some of us would sit there within earshot listening to the terrible discomfort which he suffered, as endless coughing sounds could be heard through his office door. This happened 5 days a week and gave us much to ponder about what might be causing such an uncontrollable fit of coughing.
Needless to say, those of us who were health conscious never went near that microwave. He did pass away shortly thereafter as a result of heart disease, diabetes and other chronic ailments.

PROTECT ALL BABIES

Those tiny miracles.  God’s most precious gift to us.  We hold them in wonder just moments after they are born.  We love them in a way we never loved anyone, and they love us in a way that no one else ever will.

Then, one day, we wake up.  And they are as big as we are, ready to go out in the world and make their own way, and hold their own babies in their arms, completing the natural order of life.

But for many children, the natural order of life will never be completed.
Some have already died.
Some will one day join the ranks of the working disabled.
And others will grow old and die in state homes, with the bodies of adults and the brains of babies.

For these children, the natural order of life has been forever changed by manmade viral and bacterial vaccines they were required, by law, to use.

May God bless each one of you who made the pilgrimage to Atlanta, Georgia on this day, Oct. 24, 2015, to be at this Truth, Transparency and Freedom Rally.

We have come to witness and honor our children, who have no voice and have no choice except that which we, their mothers and fathers, give to them.

We have come to defend the inalienable natural rights that unite all of us, regardless of where we live, the color of our skin, the faith that sustains us, or the philosophies that define us. 

We stand united in our commitment to protect this and future generations from exploitation by the pharmaceutical, chemical and medical trade industries that have polluted our earth and created the sickest and most disabled child and young adult populations in our nation’s history.

We will not be silent while our children are being harmed by those who have no liability or accountability for their actions.

We will not bow down before our oppressors and witness the biological integrity of another generation of children be destroyed in this bitter harvest that can only continue if we allow it to continue.

This is a Health Liberty Revolution and we are declaring our independence from the profit-driven, fear-based toxic paradigm embraced by government and fed by industries that are bankrupting America’s health care system 1 and taking away our freedom to choose how we and our children heal and stay well.2 3

Three decades ago, on May 12, 1986, a handful of parents gathered in Atlanta to hold the first public demonstration protesting the failure of the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) to tell the people the truth about vaccine injuries and deaths.  Back then, we held up signs with photos of healthy children who had been brain damaged or died from severe reactions to the crude and toxic whole cell pertussis vaccine in the DPT shot.

Today, a new generation of mothers and fathers have come to Atlanta once again to protest the failure of government to tell the truth about vaccine risks and failures.  And, like 30 years ago, many of the signs you held up yesterday at the march in front of the CDC were photos of children who have died or been brain damaged after being vaccinated.

We are here to witness and talk about the suffering of our children.  The suffering of vaccine injured children is no different from those who suffer from the complications of infectious disease, except that the lives of the vaccine injured are dismissed as acceptable losses, and their families are persecuted by those who do not want to see or hear about what vaccines are doing to our children.4 5

We believe that every life is important.  We will not look the other way while those vulnerable to vaccine injury and death are being sacrificed in the name of the greater good.

When the State considers one of us to be expendable, then we are all considered expendable.

It is time to hold corporations and government agencies corrupting science and exploiting the people for profit and power financially and legally accountable for what they have done, shamefully, in the name of the greater good.

The greater good of a society is never served when public health policy is based on a utilitarian pseudo-ethic that uses demonization, discrimination and segregation to pit citizen against citizen and punish people for exercising their human and civil rights.6

We will not give up our human right to exercise informed consent to medical risk taking in order to exercise our civil right to a school education, health care and employment.

It is time to stand up and throw off the chemical chains that are making us sick and reaffirm the natural rights of freedom of speech and conscience and the pursuit of life and liberty guaranteed in the U.S. Constitution.

I say this as a mother who witnessed her healthy, bright two and a half year old first born child suffer a convulsion, collapse shock and brain inflammation within hours of his fourth DPT shot in 1980, that left him with multiple learning disabilities and a 12-year sentence confined to a special education classroom in the public school system.  My son did not die and he was not severely brain damaged like so many children for whom the risks of vaccination turn out to be 100 percent.

But he was part of the tidal wave of learning disabled children emerging in the 1980’s, growing larger in the 1990’s, and exploding in the first decade of the 21stcentury at precisely the same time that the government’s child vaccine schedule tripled from 23 doses of 7 vaccines to a bloated 69 doses of 16 vaccines.7 8 

During those three decades, a shocking number of our children have been struck down and crippled by a chronic disease and disability epidemic sweeping through schools that now affects    1 child in 6 diagnosed with learning disabilities;9     1 in 9 with asthma;10     1 in 10 with ADHD;11  1
1 in 12 with depression;12    1 in 50 with autism13    and 1 in 400 with diabetes.14

For every parent who was able to travel to Atlanta today, there are tens of thousands who cannot come because they are at home caring for sick and disabled children.  Never being well has become the new normal for children growing up in America

And the three trillion dollar a year health care price tag paid by taxpayers for that new normal today,15 16  pales in comparison to what it is going to cost tomorrow, as more and more of these chronically ill and disabled children become adults.17 18 19 20

Where are they going to live?  What kind of jobs will they hold?  What happens when their parents die?

Public health officials and pediatricians cannot tell us why so many of our children are crowding special education classrooms, doctors offices and mental health facilities, and they are doing absolutely nothing to find out.  

They just repeat over and over again that this failing public health report card has absolutely nothing to do with atypically manipulating the immune systems of pregnant women with four vaccines given in any trimester21  and doing the same thing to children over and over again in the first six years of life, starting on the day of birth, with 49 vaccinations22  that contain genetically engineered viruses and bacteria and a cocktail of ingredients like mercury,  aluminum,  formaldehyde,  phenoxyethanol,  gluteraldehyde,  proteins,  synthetic particles,  antibiotics, and human, animal and insect DNA and RNA, plus allowable amounts of adventitious agents.23

Government health officials claim – but have failed to scientifically provethat our children’s health is not affected by repeatedly hyperstimulating inflammatory responses with vaccines;
– or feeding them GMO and processed foods laced with pesticides, hormones and antibiotics;24
– or giving them water contaminated with fluoride;25
– or allowing dentists to put mercury fillings in their mouths;26
– or giving them amphetamines, anti-depressants and other kinds of prescription drugs27  with side effects that include suicidal thoughts and violent behavior.

CDC officials and pediatricians cannot explain why, today, everybody either has a child or knows a child who was born healthy, then suddenly regressed physically, mentally and emotionally and joined the ranks of the walking wounded.

They cannot tell us why so many children were once healthy, got vaccinated and were never healthy again.
They refuse to do the good science to find out why the bodies of so many highly vaccinated children are on fire, riddled with chronic inflammation that is at the root of most brain and immune system disorders, including ADHD, epilepsy, allergies, asthma, autism, diabetes, inflammatory bowel disease, obesity, cancer, schizophrenia and depression.28

It was not always this way in America.  I grew up in the 1950’s and 60’s and remember when every child got measles, mumps and chickenpox before age 10, but there were no special education classrooms in public schools to house legions of learning disabled, autistic and emotionally disturbed children.
I remember when it was the rare child who had asthma or diabetes and there was no need to store student supplies of Ritalin and Prozac in the school nurse’s office.   I remember when we all brought peanut butter sandwiches in our lunch bags to school without being afraid it would kill one of our classmates.29

The biggest public health emergency in America is not a few measles cases at Disneyland in a population of 320 million people,30   where less than one percent of all children are unvaccinated and 95 percent of them have gotten two measles shots and five pertussis shots, plus dozens of doses of other vaccines.31 32

The real public health emergency in America is the one that is being covered up by government and industry working overtime with the mainstream media to distract, deceive, stonewall and restrict the freedom of Americans to take control of their health.
Instead of doing everything they can to find out why so many children are so sick and disabled, industry and government are working together to eliminate our legal right to make voluntary vaccine choices and eat organic33 and choose chiropractic, acupuncture, homeopathy, naturopathy, herbs, vitamins, natural supplements and other non-pharmaceutical options for healing and staying well.

Over the past quarter century, Congress has given permission for government to forge a public-private business partnership with the pharmaceutical and chemical industries.
The U.S. and global vaccine market alone is a $30 billion dollar business but in 10 years, Big Pharma will enjoy a $100 billion dollar vaccine business.34
The most influential and wealthy lobby on Capitol Hill has spent billions of dollars to co-opt federal research, regulatory and policymaking agencies and academic institutions in this country.35  
This influence peddling guarantees that junk science favoring industry profit-making is the only kind of science that informs public health policy.

So when Congress appropriates $1 trillion dollars a year to the Department of Health, government officials employed by the CDC, NIH and FDA do not use that taxpayer money to conduct basic science research to identify children at high risk for vaccine injury,36  or to compare the health of vaccinated and unvaccinated children to find out why parents consistently report that unvaccinated children are healthier and get higher grades in school than vaccinated children.37

They do not use that money to find out why infectious microbes are evolving into more virulent and vaccine resistant forms after 50 years of mass vaccination policies38  or to determine whether more children are developing genetic mutations after vaccination that damages their DNA.39

Instead, public health officials hide their heads in the sand and collaborate with industry to create hundreds of new experimental vaccines that will be fast tracked to licensure and forced on you and everyone you know  –  no exceptions and no questions asked.40 41 42 

They are using electronic medical records tracking systems to monitor your vaccination status and lobby for vaccination laws that require you to adhere to a cradle to the grave vaccine schedule that will include an AIDS vaccine and every other vaccine that Big Pharma markets and the CDC recommends in the future.43

Today, if you are a child or adult and live in California or other states that have already eliminated religious and conscientious belief vaccine exemptions and you refuse one or more government mandated vaccines, you cannot get a school education, medical care or be employed as a child or health care worker unless you can find a doctor to write a medical vaccine exemption that 99.99 percent of Americans do not qualify for under federal guidelines.44

And tomorrow?  Well, if Americans do not get up off their knees and stop worshipping doctors promoting junk science, it is not possible but probable, that tomorrow you will not be able to get on a bus, train or plane; enter a store or sports arena; obtain a driver’s license, file your taxes or function in society unless you can prove you have gotten every vaccine that industry creates and doctors implementing government policy order you to get. 

And when you or your child suffer brain inflammation and collapse, have convulsions and never recover your health after getting vaccinated, you can be sure that industry and government will either dismiss it as “just a coincidence,” or label you genetically defective and claim you would have become brain damaged even if no vaccines had been given. 

It is already being done and it is so easy to do that, when nobody making, selling, licensing, giving and voting to mandate liability-free vaccines has any accountability,and CDC officials can throw scientific evidence about vaccine risks into garbage cans.45

And the ones who know deep in the core of their being that they are not being told the truth about vaccine risks, and sense that their children are in danger, are mothers, who carry their babies inside them for nine months and give birth and are endowed with a primal instinct that God gave women so they have the courage to protect their babies from harm until they are able to survive on their own.  That biological imperative to outlive our children is hard wired into our DNA because it is what protects the survival of every species on this earth.

As mothers, we are responsible for our children’s health.  We are the ones who care for them when they become sick and unable to care for themselves for any reason, and we are the ones who stand with their fathers and weep at their graves if they die before we do.

And yet, thinking Moms who use their intellect to evaluate the benefits and risks of vaccination for their child and then listen to their gut instincts and act rationally to protect their children from harm, are being bullied, ridiculed and punished by pediatricians for making vaccine and other health care choices for their children that do not conform with government policy.46

The freedom to follow our conscience when deciding what we will risk our life or the life of our child for is a human right.47 48  It is at the heart of what it means to be free.  

Because if the State can tag, track down and force individuals to be injected with biologicals of known and unknown toxicity today, then there will be no limit on which individual freedoms the state can take away in the name of the greater good tomorrow.

Liability-free doctors inside and outside of government should never be given the power to force us to play vaccine roulette with liability-free vaccines.

And corporations marketing pharmaceutical products that can injure and kill us and our children should never be given a shield from legal accountability for the safety of their products in a civil court of law in front of a jury of our peers.

In 1986, Congress passed the National Childhood Vaccine Injury Act after drug companies threatened to leave America without a childhood vaccine supply if they were not protected from vaccine injury lawsuits.48  The 1986 law confirmed that vaccines can injure and kill and gave partial liability protection to vaccine manufacturers and pediatricians by creating a federal vaccine injury compensation system alternative to a vaccine injury lawsuit.49

Congress promised parents that the compensation program would be a no-fault, non-adversarial, expedited, less expensive and less traumatic administrative alternative to suing pharmaceutical corporations and negligent doctors.  Parents were also promised that the historic vaccine informing, recording, reporting and research safety provisions secured by co-founders of the National Vaccine Information Center into that law, would be enforced.

In 2011, when the U.S. Supreme Court declared that vaccines are “unavoidably unsafe” and effectively handed the pharmaceutical industry a total product liability shield from vaccine injury lawsuits – even when there is evidence that a drug company could have made a vaccine safer
– the compensation program became the exclusive legal remedy for vaccine injured Americans.50 

And with that free pass, government and industry immediately moved into state legislatures to eliminate personal belief vaccine exemptions as well as federal compensation for vaccine injured children.

Every single promise that Congress made to parents in 1986 was a lie.   In what has become a profound betrayal of public trust, the social contract government made with parents obeying vaccine laws in America has been irreparably broken.

Although three billion dollars has been awarded to about 4,000 vaccine victims,51  there is $3 billion dollars still sitting in the Trust Fund because government fights almost every single claim, and two out of three vaccine injured persons are turned away empty handed. 

The majority of awards are paid to adults injured by flu vaccine and not to children who suffer brain inflammation and are disabled for the rest of their lives after receiving one or more of the 16 government recommended and state mandated vaccines.  

The Secretary of Health and Justice Department lawyers drag out the compensation claims process for years52  and have gutted the rules for compensation so that few children qualify, turning the program into a cruel imitation of a court trial with no jury.

Doctors giving vaccines refuse to obey the vaccine safety provisions because there is no enforcement.

Congress has failed to provide oversight on the 1986 law, allowing government agencies to deliberately destroy the National Childhood Vaccine Injury Act and turn it into a drug company stockholder’s dream and a parent’s worst nightmare.

The 1986 law is a failed experiment in tort reform53  and it should be repealed.

The pharmaceutical industry and negligent doctors must be held fully accountable and liable for vaccine injuries and deaths in civil court.
And every public health law in America must include informed consent protections in the form of flexible medical, religious and conscientious belief exemptions.

Truth, transparency, accountability and freedom protect against tyranny and there is no greater calling for Americans in the 21st century than to take action to restore those cultural values in government and our nation’s institutions.  

The Millennials, whose children could be subjected to twice as many vaccinations tomorrow as children are given today, are joining hands with Generation X and picking up the torch that was lit by parents of DPT vaccine injured children in 1982, when we launched the organized vaccine safety and informed consent movement in America.  Your journey has begun here in Atlanta, just like ours began in Atlanta 30 years ago.

The mountain you must climb is high, but you will climb it and bring about a new age of enlightenment in this Health Liberty Revolution led by people for the people. 

And you will not give up, just like we have not given up,
because we are doing this work to save our children and the country we love.

E Cigarettes Exploding in faces of Users! Posted Oct 28/15

(NEWSER) – There’s got to be a less dramatic way to quit smoking. WPTV reports a Florida man is in the hospital after his e-cigarette exploded in his face Monday, leaving him with a badly burned face and neck. Ema Richardson found her 21-year-old brother Evan Spahlinger on the floor and covered in soot after hearing an explosion and smelling smoke, according to CBS Miami. “I found my brother not breathing with his whole face burned and his neck burned and trying to throw up a little or maybe he was gasping for air,” Richardson says. Spahlinger was rushed to the hospital and put into a medically induced coma.

Richardson tells CBS Spahlinger has internal and external burns and damage to his lungs. She says the mouthpiece from his e-cigarette may have gone down his throat and exploded a second time. According to WPTV, Spahlinger underwent cosmetic surgery Tuesday. Before he was taken to the hospital, Richardson tells CBS her brother managed to tell her he was done with e-cigarettes forever. Officials believe the explosion was caused by the e-cigarette’s lithium battery, which have been blamed in other e-cigarette explosions around the country.

Tampons, Sterile Cotton, Sanitary Pads Contaminated with Glyphosate – Study

85 percent of tampons, cotton and sanitary products tested contained glyphosate, the key ingredient in Monsanto’s Roundup herbicide…

The vast majority ‒ 85 percent ‒ of tampons, cotton and sanitary products tested in a new Argentinian study contained glyphosate, the key ingredient in Monsanto’s Roundup herbicide, ruled a likely carcinogen by the World Health Organization.
Meanwhile, 62 percent of the samples tested positive for AMPA, glyphosate’s metabolite, according to the study, which was conducted by researchers at the Socio-Environmental Interaction Space (EMISA) of the University of La Plata in Argentina.
All of the raw and sterile cotton gauze analyzed in the study showed evidence of glyphosate, said Dr. Damian Marino, the study’s head researcher.
“Eighty-five percent of all samples tested positive for glyphosate and 62 percent for AMPA, which is the environmental metabolite, but in the case of cotton and sterile cotton gauze the figure was 100 percent,” Marino told Télam news agency. An English translation of the Télam report can be found here. The products tested were acquired at local stores in Argentina.
“In terms of concentrations, what we saw is that in raw cotton AMPA dominates (39 parts per billion, or PPB, and 13 PPB of glyphosate), while the gauze is absent of AMPA, but contained glyphosate at 17 PPB.”
 
The results of the study were first announced to the public last week at the 3rd National Congress of Doctors for Fumigated Communities in Buenos Aires.
“The result of this research is very serious, when you use cotton or gauze to heal wounds or for personal hygiene uses, thinking they are sterilized products, and the results show that they are contaminated with a probably carcinogenic substance,” said Dr. Medardo Avila Vazquez, president of the congress.
“Most of the cotton production in the country is GM [genetically modified] cotton that is resistant to glyphosate. It is sprayed when the bud is open and the glyphosate is condensed and goes straight into the product,” Avila continued.
Marino said the original purpose of his research was not to test products for glyphosate, but to see how far the chemical can spread when aircraft sprayed an area, such as cropland.
“There is a basic premise in research that when we complete testing on out target we have to contrast it with something ‘clean,’ so we selected sterile gauze for medical use, found in pharmacies,” he said.
“So we went and bought sterile gauze, opened the packages, analyzed and there was the huge surprise: We found glyphosate! Our first thought was that we had done something wrong, so we threw it all away and bought new gauze, analyzed them and again found glyphosate.”
 
Argentina has had a tampon shortage in recent years based on the country’s policies concerning imports and foreign currency, according to reports in January.  Most of the nation’s tampon imports come from Brazil, Miguel Ponce, head of the Chamber of Importers, told AP.  Those tampons include American brands, such as OB and Kotex.
In 2014, 96 percent of cotton produced in the United States was genetically modified, according to the US Department of Agriculture.
Transnational agrochemical giant Monsanto’s Roundup herbicide, of which glyphosate is the main ingredient, is sprayed over genetically modified crops ‒ which Monsanto also produces ‒ that are engineered to be resistant to the powerful chemical. Used the world over, glyphosate, which Monsanto first developed in 1974, is a broad-spectrum herbicide used to kill weeds, especially annual broadleaf weeds and grasses known to compete with commercial crops.  GMO seeds have caused use of glyphosate to increase immensely since the 1990s, according to US Geological Survey data.
In March, the International Agency for Research on Cancer (IARC), an arm of the World Health Organization, classified glyphosate as a “probable carcinogen,” as opposed to its previous designation, a “possible carcinogen.”
In the US, the herbicide has been considered safe since 2013, when Monsanto received approval from the US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) for increased tolerance levels for glyphosate.  In its original assessment, the federal regulator said glyphosate could be “used without unreasonable risks to people or the environment.”
 
Scientific studies have linked the chemicals in Monsanto’s biocides to Parkinson’s disease, Alzheimer’s disease, autism and cancer.  Furthermore, as the most powerful multinational biotech corporation today, Monsanto has drawn the ire of farmers and consumers for its firm grip on the global food chain.  The company’s control and advancement of GMO seeds is of prime concern, as they symbolize the company’s consolidation of agricultural processes.
The effects of biochemicals on wildlife, including pollinators such as honeybees and monarch butterflies, are also a point of concern.  For instance, since 1990, about 970 million of the butterflies – 90 percent of the total population – have vanished across the United States, according to the Fish and Wildlife Service. At least part of the blame rests on the boom in Roundup use.  The herbicide is marketed to farmers and homeowners as an effective method for eliminating plants like milkweed, so it’s widely blamed for decimating the butterflies’ only source of food in the Midwest.
Two-thirds of European Union nations have requested allowance to ban GMO crops, pursuant to European Commission rules.

Government Agencies, that were supposed to monitor Industry to protect the health of people, the environment and the ecology, became so infiltrated and corrupted that their primary function became “protecting the Corporations’ Economy”, no matter how toxic and how dangerously destructive to life their products had become.  The more toxic, the greater the perceived need to legalistically make “opposition to their toxicity” a criminal and punishable offence. 

This back-scratching scenario has become so incestuous and insidiously corrupt that we now see Government passing laws like the “Monsanto Protection Bill” that makes it ILLEGAL for the public to protect its food supply, and prevent it from being taken over by Monsanto’s toxic GMOs and the associated toxic agrichemicals.  The net result is that, in the name of protecting “The Corporate Economy”, toxic products are protected from identification and removal, when they should never have been permitted into the marketplace in the first place.

In today’s Economy, apparently biological survival has become an irrelevant and redundant issue.   Why?  Because only the profits generated count!  Because we have been asleep at the switch;  – we have failed to be vigilant;  –  we have failed to identify the consequences of this incremental implementation of what is an overtly criminal Toxic Economy that has become incompatible with biological processes and the survival of LIFE.

The Economy is all up-side-down – and it is imperitive that we set it straight again with a viable and sustainable economy.  The poisons have to go  –  and no law can be permitted that protects them.

How many chemicals are you exposed to on a daily basis?  There’s no way to know for sure, but chances are toxic chemicals are in your food and many items you touch hundreds, if not thousands, of times a day.

What is known that your toxic burden is largely related to your purchasing decisions and lifestyle.  While environmental pollution is certainly a factor, primary routes of chronic exposure include your diet, and personal care and household products.

Tests have confirmed that those who eat non-organic foods and use chemical-based products tend to have far higher levels of toxins in their system.  Your choice of building materials and furniture can also play a role, as many contain toxic chemicals like flame retardants.

Toxins in Food and Plastics Are Fueling Chronic Disease

Health statistics suggest the toxic burden is becoming too great for children and adults alike, and toxins in our food appear to play a primary role.

According to Joseph E. Pizzorno,1 founding president of Bastyr University, toxins in the modern food supply are now “a major contributor to, and in some cases the cause of, virtually all chronic diseases.”

Dr. David Bellinger, a professor of Neurology at Harvard Medical School has expressed similar concerns.  According to his estimates, Americans have lost a total of 16.9 million IQ points due to exposure to organophosphate pesticides.2

Most recently, a report3,4 by the International Federation of Gynecology and Obstetrics5 warns that chemical exposures now represent a major threat to human health and reproduction.

An Endocrine Society task force also recently issued a new scientific statement6,7  on endocrine-disrupting chemicals, noting that the health effects of hormone-disrupting chemicals are such that everyone needs to take proactive steps to avoid them.

The statement also calls for improved safety testing to determine which chemicals may cause problems.

Our Daily Poison

Written and directed by Marie-Monique Robin, the featured film “Our Daily Poison” delves into these kinds of issues, covering a spectrum of poisons that most people are exposed to on a regular basis.  This includes:

·        Agricultural chemicals

·        Artificial sweeteners like aspartame and other food additives

·        Endocrine-disrupting chemicals like phthalates and bisphenol-A (BPA)

The film also discusses “the cocktail effect” — interactions between chemicals that render the sum total more harmful than the risks associated with any given chemical in isolation.

Conventional Farming Can Be Hazardous to Your Health

With the advent of the “green revolution” starting in the 1930s, chemicals became agents of choice and were widely embraced as the way to eradicate hunger and ensure abundance.

Agricultural chemicals such as pesticides were said to be responsible for providing the Western world with the highest living standard the world had ever known.

In this chemistry-based model, there’s a chemical for every problem: pesticides to kill pests, herbicides to address weeds, insecticides to get rid of specific insects, fungicides against mushrooms and fungi, and so on.

But, as the decades wore on, problems and drawbacks of this system became apparent.  For starters, farmers became increasingly vulnerable to diseases and chronic ailments related to toxic exposures — many of which came as a complete surprise to farmers who believed such chemicals were safe.

The film features a group of about 30 French farmers, who for more than 15 years have fought against the use of pesticides in France after becoming severely ill from either acute or long-term exposure.

Studies have indeed shown both farm workers and rural residents living near farms are at increased risk of certain diseases, including Parkinson’s disease, which has been linked to pesticide exposure.

Pesticides, herbicides, and fungicides are potent toxins that can damage your neurological system, including your brain.  Even extremely low-level pesticide exposure has been found to considerably increase the risk of Parkinson’s disease.

Certain types of cancer are also more prevalent among agricultural workers than the general population.

Common Side Effects of Agricultural Chemicals

Different chemicals are associated with different side effects:

·        Insecticides primarily produce neurological symptoms, such as headaches

·        Fungicides tend to produce skin-related symptoms

·        Herbicides are associated with digestive and skin problems

Glyphosate, one of the most widely used herbicides in the world, has been linked to an array of health effects, including:8,9

·        Nutritional deficiencies, especially minerals

·        Systemic toxicity

·        Disruption of your microbiome; preferentially affecting beneficial bacteria, and allowing pathogens to overgrow

·        Increased antibiotic resistance

·        Increased cancer risk10,11,12,13

Roundup Formulation Is Likely Far Worse Than Glyphosate

Glyphosate is the active ingredient in Monsanto’s broad spectrum herbicide Roundup.  This herbicide is most heavily applied on genetically engineered (GE) corn, soybeans, and sugar beets, but it’s also commonly used to desiccate conventional (non-GMO but non-organic) wheat and protect other conventional crops from weeds.

While the dangers of glyphosate are quickly becoming more widely recognized, many fail to realize that the Roundup formulation is even more toxic than glyphosate, because the surfactants in the formula synergistically increase glyphosate’s toxicity.

Recent research14,15 by Gilles-Éric Séralini — whose initial lifetime feeding study revealed massive tumor growth and early death — shows that long-term exposure to even ultra-low amounts of Roundup can cause cancer, along with liver and kidney damage in rats.  The dose used in this study was “environmentally relevant in terms of human, domesticated animals, and wildlife levels of exposure,” prompting the authors to suggest Roundup may have significant implications for health.

As revealed in the featured film, pesticides are not safe, and the science backing their use on the field, and the safety of consuming traces of them on food, has been largely produced by groups that have significant conflicts of interests.  The chemical industry also has a perpetually revolving door with the regulatory agencies, which has allowed unreasonably hazardous chemicals to be used in the growing of our food.

The film also reveals the history and questionable use of Acceptable Daily Intake (ADI) and the Maximum Residue Limit (MRL) as assurances of the “safe” level of pesticides in the diet.  While many believe these measures are based on sound science, in reality, there’s plenty of guess work involved in calculating these limits.

Many Food Chemicals Are Unregulated

While the regulatory system governing agricultural chemicals is dysfunctional and flawed, other chemicals used in food production are not regulated at all…  In the US, food additives are not automatically required to get premarket approval by the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA).16,17,18,19,20  As explained in the video above, items that fall under the “generally recognized as safe” (GRAS) designation are exempt from the approval process, and food manufacturers routinely use this loophole to add novel ingredients without FDA oversight.

This is also how Monsanto and other agribusinesses sneaked GMO foods into our food supply, as the FDA classified them as GRAS in 1992Steven Druker revealed in my interview with him how his lawsuit to reverse this was lost on technicalities.

The law that provides this unfortunate loophole is the 1958 Food Additives Amendment.  It excludes GRAS items from the formal FDA approval process for food additives, and while it doesn’t make sense today, it did at the time it was written.  In 1958, GRAS exemptions applied to common food ingredients like vinegar and baking soda — regular cooking ingredients known through their historical use as being safe.  However, times have changed, and so has food chemistry.  Food manufacturers of today use chemicals in food processing that would have been inconceivable in 1958.

A major part of the problem is that food companies are allowed to determine, on their own, whether an ingredient is GRAS.  To do this, all they have to do is hire an industry insider to evaluate the chemical, and if that individual determines that the chemical meets federal safety standards, it can be deemed GRAS.

At that point, the company doesn’t even need to inform the FDA that the ingredient is used, and no independent third party objective evaluation is required.  This process allows food manufacturers to market novel chemicals in their products based on absolutely nothing except their own safety assessmentsthe results of which can be kept a secret.

According to Center for Science in the Public Interest (CSPI),21,22 at least 1,000 ingredients are added to our food that the FDA has no knowledge of.  One now “classic” example of the GRAS process gone awry is artificial trans fat, which was originally considered GRAS.  Decades later and faced with a mountain of scientific evidence, the FDA has now deemed trans fat dangerous, saying it causes as many as 7,000 deaths from heart disease each year, and has withdrawn the GRAS designation from hydrogenated vegetables oils.

Fascinating Example of How Funding Bias Can Influence Science

The film also touches on how the regulatory process was manipulated to allow aspartame into the food supply.  There are a number of well-written books on the market that detail the twists and turns of this part of history.  A Harvard law summary of the legal wrangling23 that took place is also a worthwhile read if you’re confused about how a toxin like aspartame could possibly be allowed in the food supply.

Aspartame gained FDA approval in the US in 1981, with a daily ADI of 50 mg/kg.  In Europe, the European Food Safety Authority set the ADI at 40 mg/kg.  While aspartame can be found in some 6,000 different food products, diet soda accounts for a majority of the aspartame consumed.  A 12 ounce can of diet soda can contain upwards of 180 mg of aspartame — well over the ADI of both the US and Europe.

The safety of aspartame has been debated since well before its FDA approval, and if you’ve been inclined to believe the claims that aspartame has been well-studied and found safe, the following review of the science just might make you reconsider…

In 1996, Dr. Ralph G. Walton, a physician and professor of Clinical Psychiatry reviewed 165 aspartame studies24,25 believed to be relevant to human safety.  What he found was a remarkable discrepancy between study results and their source of funding.  Of the 165 studies, 74 had industry-related funding (such as Searle, Nutrasweet®, Ajinomoto, and the International Life Sciences Institute Nutrition Foundation), and 91 were independently funded. Of those:

·        100 percent of the industry funded studies supported aspartame’s safety

·        92 percent of the independently funded studies identified at least one potential health concern

However, of the seven non-industry funded studies that supported aspartame’s safety, six were done by the FDA.  The seventh was a literature review of mostly industry-sponsored research.  Considering the long-standing revolving door between various industries (especially Monsanto, which acquired G.D. Searle in 1985) and the FDA, it’s questionable as to whether an FDA study can be considered truly “independent,” even though they were counted as independent in Walton’s review.

If you give that concern any merit, you’d more or less be looking at 100 percent of industry-related studies claiming aspartame to be safe, and 100 percent of independent studies flagging some sort of health concern!

The Hormone-Wrecking Power of Plastics

A number of common household chemicals are endocrine disruptors, meaning, they alter the normal function of your hormones.  These are referred to as “endocrine-disrupting chemicals” (EDCs).  A 2013 Environmental Working Group (EWG) report 26 identified many of the best-known hormone wreckers; 12 of the worst are listed in the following table.  I’ve written about many of these in prior articles, so for more information about any particular one, please follow the links.

Bisphenol-A (BPA)

Dioxin

Atrazine

Phthalates

Perchlorate

Fire retardants

Lead

Mercury

Arsenic

Perfluorinated chemicals(PFCs)

Organophosphate pesticides

Glycol ethers

A hormone’s job is to interact with the cells in your body, sending signals that instruct them to perform certain tasks, but EDCs interfere with this communication process.  Small but repeated EDC exposures can mimic your natural endocrine system — and that’s what’s so concerning. Your hormones operate at parts per million and parts per billion concentrations. This is why many experts believe there is no safe level of exposure for many of these EDCs.

As noted in the film, the effects noted in animals such as rats are now — some 25 years later — being observed in humans.  This includes early-onset of menopause in increasingly younger women.  This effect was demonstrated in animal studies decades ago, and is now turning out to hold true in humans as well.

The fact that EDCs cause generational effects makes the proliferation of chemicals in pregnant women all the more disturbing.  In a 2005 landmark study,27 EWG found an average of 200 industrial chemicals and pollutants in the umbilical cord blood of infants born in the US, including pesticides, environmental waste chemicals, BPA, flame-retardants, PCBs, and even DDT.  Some of these chemicals can cross the placenta and produce effects at very tiny doses.  In an important 2012 World Health Organization (WHO) report about endocrine-disrupting chemicals, the authors wrote:28,29

“The diverse systems affected by endocrine-disrupting chemicals likely include all hormonal systems and range from those controlling development and function of reproductive organs to the tissues and organs regulating metabolism and satiety.  Effects on these systems can lead to obesity, infertility, or reduced fertility, learning and memory difficulties, adult-onset diabetes, or cardiovascular disease, as well as a variety of other diseases.”

Tips to Help You Avoid Toxic Chemicals

Tens of thousands of industrial chemicals are used daily in consumer products with grossly inadequate safety testingif ANY safety testing was done at all.  Even under the best circumstances, the current American system does not look at how chronically low doses of chemicals affect you, or how aggregate exposures affect you over time — and it’s these combined effects that pose the greatest concern.

Within such a dysfunctional system, you are the best one to keep your family safe.  Although no one can successfully steer clear of ALL chemicals and pollutants, you can minimize your exposure by keeping a number of key principles in mind.

·        Eat a diet focused on REAL FOOD that is locally grown, fresh, and ideally organic whole foods.  Processed and packaged foods are a common source of chemicals such as BPA and phthalates.  Wash fresh produce well, especially if it’s not organically grown.

·        Choose grass-pastured, sustainably raised meats and dairy to reduce your exposure to hormones, pesticides, and fertilizers.  Avoid milk and other dairy products that contain the genetically engineered recombinant bovine growth hormone (rBGH or rBST).

·        Rather than eating conventional or farm-raised fish, which are often heavily contaminated with PCBs and mercury, supplement with a high-quality krill oil, or eat fish that is wild-caught and lab tested for purity, such as wild caught Alaskan salmon.

·        Buy products that come in glass bottles rather than plastic or cans, as chemicals can leach out of plastics (and plastic can linings), into the contents; be aware that even “BPA-free” plastics typically leach other endocrine-disrupting chemicals that are just as bad for you as BPA.

·        Store your food and beverages in glass, rather than plastic, and avoid using plastic wrap.

·        Use glass baby bottles.

·        Replace your non-stick pots and pans with ceramic or glass cookware.

·        Filter your tap water for both drinking AND bathing.  If you can only afford to do one, filtering your bathing water may be more important, as your skin absorbs contaminants.  To remove the endocrine-disrupting herbicide Atrazine, make sure your filter is certified to remove it.  According to the EWG, perchlorate can be filtered out using a reverse osmosis filter.

·        Look for products made by companies that are Earth-friendly, animal-friendly, sustainable, certified organic, and GMO-free. This applies to everything from food and personal care products to building materials, carpeting, paint, baby items, furniture, mattresses, and others.

·        Use a vacuum cleaner with a HEPA filter to remove contaminated house dust.  This is one of the major routes of exposure to flame retardant chemicals.

·        When buying new products such as furniture, mattresses, or carpet padding, consider buying flame retardant free varieties, containing naturally less flammable materials, such as leather, wool, cotton, silk, and Kevlar.

·        Avoid stain- and water-resistant clothing, furniture, and carpets to avoid perfluorinated chemicals (PFCs).

·        Make sure your baby’s toys are BPA-free, such as pacifiers, teething rings, and anything your child may be prone to suck or chew on — even books, which are often plasticized.  It’s advisable to avoid all plastic, especially flexible varieties.

·        Use natural cleaning products or make your own.  Avoid those containing 2-butoxyethanol (EGBE) and methoxydiglycol (DEGME) — two toxic glycol ethers that can compromise your fertility and cause fetal harm.

·        Switch over to organic toiletries, including shampoo, toothpaste, antiperspirants, and cosmetics.  EWG’s Skin Deep database30 can help you find personal care products that are free of phthalates and other potentially dangerous chemicals.

·        Replace your vinyl shower curtain with a fabric one.

·        Replace feminine hygiene products (tampons and sanitary pads) with safer alternatives.

·        Look for fragrance-free products.  One artificial fragrance can contain hundreds — even thousands — of potentially toxic chemicals.  Avoid fabric softeners and dryer sheets, which contain a mishmash of synthetic chemicals and fragrances.

(The Best Years in Life) A study published in the July 2014 edition of the Journal of Environmental Research has found that eating an organic diet for just one week can reduce pesticide levels in adults by almost 90%. The study reaffirms the findings of a 2006 study on children which found that organic diets greatly lowered children’s levels of organophosphorus pesticides.

The study’s findings have important implications in reducing pesticide exposure at a time when much of our commercial non-organic produce is laden with pesticides, as well as for the value of regularly consuming organic produce, especially for children.

Details of the new study

The study was conducted by RMIT University and was led by Dr. Liza Oates. Dr. Oates found that participants’ urinary dialkylphosphate (DAP) levels were 89% lower when they ate an organic diet for seven days compared to a conventional diet for the same time period. DAPs make up about 70% to 80% of organophosphate pesticides.

During the organic phase, the participants consumed, on average, 93% organic food — including 83% “certified organic” and 10% “likely organic” food. Dr Oates said the large drop in organophosphate pesticide levels suggested that the source of most of the pesticides comes from food consumption. However, she also recognized it could come from other sources such as inhalation and skin absorption.

Research has linked a number of health issues with pesticides, including cancer and issues with the central nervous system. Dr. Oates said that the latter is not surprising, since “a lot of these agents were initially developed as nerve gases for chemical warfare.”

In a recent study published in the journal Pediatrics, researchers found that children who have high levels of pesticide residues are 93% more likely to have ADHD.

The pesticides in our produce

Much of our produce is contaminated with significant levels of pesticides. According to the Environmental Working Group (EWG), which just released its list of the most pesticide-laden fruits and vegetables, apples are the worst offender of all. Most conventionally grown apples sold in the U.S. are treated with diphenylamine (DPA), a chemical pesticide that also helps prevent browning and allows apples to lie in cold storage for up to a year before they appear at your local grocery store. The problem is that, the longer the apples remain in storage, the more DPA penetrates into the fruit.

A study of DPA metabolism in treated apples found that DPA penetrates from the skin into the pulp of the fruit, and after 40 weeks the pulp contains 32% of the pesticide residue. In 2010, USDA scientists tested raw apples and found DPA on 80% of fruits tested.

Other produce listed on EWG’s “Dirty Dozen” for 2014: strawberries, grapes, celery, peaches, spinach, sweet bell peppers, imported nectarines, cucumbers, cherry tomatoes, imported snap peas and potatoes. Each of these contains a number of different pesticide residues and has high concentrations of pesticides compared to other produce items.

Obviously, the healthiest diet plan is to switch to certified organic produce (or else grow your own organic fruits and vegetables) to help reduce existing pesticide levels and then continue consuming organic produce to prevent pesticide levels from building back up in the future.

Ironically, organic apples which are free of pesticides are some of the best fruits when it comes to removing pesticides and other toxins, especially when apples are sliced and allowed to brown and thus produce pectin, an excellent detoxifier.

There are dots to connect here.  They’re real, and they’re spectacular.

Let me begin with a brief exchange from a 1978 interview, conducted by reporter Jeremiah Novak.  He was speaking with two American members of the Trilateral Commission (TC), a group founded in 1973 by David Rockefeller and his intellectual flunkey, Zbigniew Brzezinski.

NOVAK: Yes, but why doesn’t President Carter come out with it and tell the American people that [US] economic and political power is being coordinated by a [Trilateral Commission] committee made up of Henry Owen and six others?  After all, if [US] policy is being made on a multinational level, the people should know.

RICHARD COOPER [Trilateral Commission member]: President Carter and Secretary of State Vance have constantly alluded to this in their speeches.

KARL KAISER [Trilateral Commission member]: It just hasn’t become an issue.

This through-the-looking-glass moment summed up the casual arrogance of Trilateral members: of courseUS government policy was in the hands of Trilateralists;what else would you expect?

US government policy most certainly covers the area of international trade—and Cooper and Kaiser were foreshadowing blockbuster trade treaties to come: e.g., NAFTA, GATT (which established the World Trade Organization), CAFTA, and now, the Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP), which is being negotiated in secret among 12 nations responsible for a major amount of world trade and world GDP.

Here are two key Trilateral quotes that reflect this global outlook—by which I mean a world dominated by mega-corporations:

“The nation state as a fundamental unit of man’s organized life has ceased to be the principal creative force: International banks and multinational corporations are acting and planning in terms that are far in advance of the political concepts of the nation-state.”  — Zbigniew Brzezinski, 1969.

Brzezinski was Obama’s foreign policy mentor after Obama won the Presidency in 2008.

Any doubt on the question of Trilateral Commission goals is answered by David Rockefeller himself, the founder of the TC, in his Memoirs (2003):

“Some even believe we are part of a secret cabal working against the best interests of the United States, characterizing my family and me as ‘internationalists’ and of conspiring with others around the world to build a more integrated global political and economic structure-one world, if you will. If that is the charge, I stand guilty, and I am proud of it.”

Integrated global political and economic structure” means: domination of populations via giant corporations.

Here is the payoff.  The current US Trade Representative (appointed by Obama in 2013), who is responsible for negotiating the TPP with 11 other nations, is Michael Froman, a former member of the Trilateral Commission.  Don’t let the word “former” fool you.  TC members resign when they take positions in the Executive Branch of government.  And when they serve in vital positions, such as US Trade Representative, they aren’t there by accident.  They’re TC operatives with a specific agenda.

The TPP IS a major item on the Trilateral to-do list.  Make no mistake about it.

Let’s move along to Monsanto, one of those mega-corporations the Trilateralists fervently favor.

From 2001 to 2008, a man named Islam Siddiqui was a staunch US lobbyist for, and vice president of, CropLife America.  Siddiqui represented Monsanto, BASF, Bayer, Dow, DuPont, Syngenta—the biggest and most aggressive biotech GMO corporations in the world.

On October 21, 2011, Siddiqui’s new appointment (by Obama) was confirmed.  He became the federal government’s Chief Agricultural Negotiator, and served in that position until he resigned on December 12, 2013.  During his tenure, Siddiqui, Monsanto’s man, was up to his ears in negotiating the TPP.

On April 22, 2009, Siddiqui had addressed the press in a US State Dept. briefing disingenuously titled “Green Revolution”:

“What we need now in the 21st century is another revolution… you would not do it just by conventional breeding.  You need to have use of 21st century technologies, including biotechnology, genetic [GMO] technology… And these molecules, which are being used (inaudible), they are state-of-the-art technologies, using molecular biology.  Especially in chemicals [pesticides], they have less harsh footprint on the environment, they are more green, in terms of the adverse effects and ecological effects.  They are also tested more thoroughly.”

Siddiqui is a disinformation pro.  For example, the most widely used pesticide in the world, deployed in conjunction with Monsanto’s GMO crops, was tested so “thoroughly” for safety that it is now declared a probable carcinogen by the World Health Organization.  You may have heard of it: Roundup.

Siddiqui’s tenure negotiating US interests in the TPP surely favored big biotech, and all the companies who make their living selling GMO crop-seeds and pesticides.

The predicted outcome of the TPP vis-à-vis GMOs?  It’s obvious.  Nations who resist the importation of GMO food crops will be sued, in private tribunals, for interfering with “free trade.”

This is the future writ large, unless the TPP is derailed.

Consider the local movement in Hawaii’s Maui County, where in the last election, citizens voted to block long-standing Monsanto/Dow experimentation with GMOs and their attendant pesticides, until an independent investigation could assess the health effects of those reckless open-air activities.

Monsanto immediately sued to suspend the force of the vote, successfully obtained an injunction, and the case has been hung up in federal court ever since.

Under the TPP, all successful local community actions against GMOs and their pesticides, anywhere in the 12-member countries, would be viewed per se as obstructions to free trade; and instead of engaging in a public and messy court battle, corporations could simply sue (or threaten to sue) the offending member country in a private tribunal, automatically defeat the local communities, and win a cash judgment.

Attempts to label GMOs, and previous laws allowing labeling in various countries, could be arbitrarily canceled.

Consider the recent astounding action of US Trade Representatives in Europe.  Using yet another disastrous trade treaty under negotiation, the TTIP (Transatlantic Trade and Investment Partnership), US Trade Reps pressured the European Union (EU) to modify its stance on pesticides.

The Guardian (May 22, 2015) headline and tag says it all:

“EU dropped pesticide laws due to US pressure over TTIP, documents show… US trade officials pushed EU to shelve action on endocrine-disrupting chemicals linked to cancer and male infertility to facilitate TTIP free trade deal.”

Note: this repressive and criminal action didn’t even involve a treaty that had been ratified.  The pressure was all about the so-called positive economic impact the TTIP would have, when passed, for Europe.  And in the face of that money benefit, and the threat of its removal (by ditching the TTIP negotiations), who would dare curb the import and use of chemicals that achieve something as “minor” as disrupting human endocrine systems and causing male infertility and cancer?

This is the sort of judgment we can look forward to, if and when the TTP and the TTIP are ratified.

This is the face of corporate Globalism   This is the face of the Globalist Trilateral Commission.

Recently, US Senator Jeff Sessions broke the code of silence on what is in the forbidden-to-be-disclosed TPP Treaty.  His most pungent revelation concerned “living agreements.”  Thus giving new meaning to the term bait-and-switch.

Living agreements are arbitrary changes that can be made to the treaty, by Presidential fiat, without consulting Congress, after the treaty has been ratified.

That’s right.  In other words, the treaty is the treaty until it isn’t, until it’s something more, something different, something worse, something that empowers mega-corporations to a greater degree than previously negotiated.

Because those corporations, those Monsantos and Dows and Syngentas, wouldn’t want to miss a trick, wouldn’t want to forego suddenly realizing how they can exert even more dominance, would they?

Trade agreements have a history of displacing small farmers and destroying local food economies.  Ten years following the passage of NAFTA (North American Free Trade Agreement) 1.5 million Mexican farmers became bankrupt because they could not compete with the highly subsidized US corn entering the Mexican market.

“In the same 10 years Mexico went from a country virtually producing all of its own corn to a country that now imports at least half of this food staple.  Mexican consumers are now paying higher prices for Monsanto’s GMO corn.”

It isn’t just GMOs.  Suppose a US pharmaceutical company decides to export a new drug to Japan or Australia or Canada, all members of the TPP.
And suppose the drug is highly toxic.
And suppose the governments of those nations object.
The US company could sue, win a huge $$ judgment, and force the export to go through anyway.

As I’ve written in previous articles, the details of the TPP negotiations and the text of the TPP are secret.   Government officials in the member nations are not allowed to know all the details of the treaty, nor are they permitted to reveal what they know to the public.

This is an oligarchic dictatorship of corporations on a global scale.  Along with a purposeful dumb-show, played out by government officials: “I don’t even know much about what’s in the trade treaty.  And if I did, I couldn’t tell you.”  So far, Senator Sessions is the only exception.

Those people who still believe that One World United, delivered to us by the powers-that-be, will lead to a better life for all, need to put that fairy tale away and see the underlying framework and the underlying betrayal.

The Globalist/Trilateral Community aims to destroy the rights and power of all communities, and ultimately, destroy all people who still have a grip on the word freedom.

This is the grinning nightmare descending in the long night, professing to help us all, claiming to know the details of better living through chemistry, asserting that trade treaties couldn’t harm a flea…and television news assures us that, at worst, this is just another he-said he-said debate, nothing to worry about, be happy, march forward, eyes closed, mouths shut, mind quiet.

“I don’t know how many times I have to repeat it. We can’t control this many people. We have to get rid of most of the useless eaters and it’s not happening fast enough. You each have power and responsibility in this, so what the hell have you been doing this last year?”

A CEO from a chemical company stood to defend himself, saying:

“We control over 80% of what they eat already, and we have laced it with GMOs, hormones, aspartame, and pesticides. Our MSG combines elegantly with all the High Fructose Corn Syrup they consume to create cancers and heart disease and diabetes at an unprecedented rate.”

The President of a pharmaceutical conglomerate chimed in:

“We’ve got over half of the adults in our country on at least one prescription drug and now we have almost as many of the kids as well. The anti-depressants are hooking them when they get convinced that strong feelings aren’t OK, and the pushers are selling pain killers and mood pills almost as fast as the pharmacies.

“When someone loses it entirely and goes on a killing rampage, that’s helping convince folks they should turn in their guns to the government.

“We’re succeeding in making vaccines mandatory, and are on the verge of being able to just inject everyone with the toxins and heavy metals that we have been dropping from the sky and infusing in their water — the ones that dumb them down, weaken their resistance and shorten their lives.”

A notorious minister of education rose to speak.

“Now that state-sponsored education is mandatory, we are doing everything we can to teach the history we want them to believe. They memorize but don’t ask or challenge much. Their heroes are the military, political and banking elite.

“They believe in the goodness of the nation state as their rulers and even the students of journalism all want to go into PR. They mostly want to work for the multi-nationals because that’s where the money is and even the elite private school students want to go to Wall St. or head up a big corporation or foundation…, again because we’ve made sure that’s where the money is.”

A four star general snapped to attention and boomed:

“Hey, we’re still knockin’ em off in the desert, over a million in Iraq alone and we’re back in there. Profits are still rising after we got Hamas and ISIS to follow in Al Qaeda’s boot steps.

“We’re doing everything we can to get into Iran and Syria, while convincing the world that China and Russia are the bad guys. We just need more money and it’ll all work out the way we planned.”

A prominent former Western head of state adjusted his tie and lapel pin to represent the politicians.

“Hey, we got you the Patriot Act, the NDAA, the Military Commissions Act, and the Natural Resources Defense Act.

“That’s total power over every system, resource, citizen and enforcement agency. Now with fast-tracking passed by the Senate, we are ready to go with the TPP, TTIP and Agenda 21, we are handing almost complete global authority over to you bankers and CEOs. The BRICS alliance is a nuisance, but at least we are keeping most reports of them and their power out of the mainstream news.”

“The original boss at the podium glared at them all. “OK, so you are telling me you’ve got the masses sick, poor, in debt, afraid, medicated and duped. How come we still can’t get rid of most of them and control the rest? For all your bragging, we seem to be losing.

“We’re getting exposed, even arrested and forbidden to travel in some cases. We are becoming the laughing stock with all our banks and governments hundreds of trillions in the red. Our gold has mostly disappeared and they aren’t buying the notion of just letting us print money any more.

“We’ve got to get rid of cash and commodity-backed transactions immediately! Our own soldiers are on the verge of revolt in unprecedented ways. They’re starting to think they’re the ‘White Hats’ and we’re some kind of delusional psychopaths! This is unacceptable!”

With this outburst, he slouched and started to cough and had to sit down. But then I saw that men and women all over the ballroom were swooning and reeling. The MC ended the program abruptly and people helped each other out of the room to return to their suites.

As a fly on the wall, all of this definitely had my attention, so I flew down and snacked on some leftovers at one of the tables and then camped out behind a light fixture for the night.

When the doors opened for the next day’s presentations over breakfast, I was stunned to see people dragging in looking tired, ill and disoriented. The first speaker, some Queen from Europe, could barely stand and her voice was weak.

“Something is wrong, ladies and gentlemen. I don’t feel very well. And apparently many of you don’t as well.”

At that moment, one of the armed guards walked up onto the stage and bent the microphone toward himself.

“Yes, indeed, people, there is something very wrong. And the problem is people who act like YOU.” A hush came over the auditorium and the Queen grabbed the mic, yelling, “Guards, get rid of this man.”

The guards around the room remained motionless.

“Don’t bother, ma’am, they’re all with me. Everyone in uniform, in fact, is here to give you a message.”

As the participants looked around the room, guards were standing in front of every exit.

“We have heard you refer to the ‘X Factor’ — some mythical force you don’t seem to be able to defeat, no matter how much money, deception and force you throw at it. It’s actually not that esoteric. It’s the life force — which includes the truth, morality, empathy and love. It’s good people everywhere. You can think of us as emissaries of the X Team.”

One of the waitresses put down her tray and walked up the steps to the stage. She stepped to the mic and said:

“On behalf of the kitchen and wait staff, I want to let you know that the food and beverages you consumed the last several days were all the trash that you have all been inflicting on innocent people worldwide. You were drinking fracking water, enhanced with coal slurry and fluoride accented with various of your unethically approved pharmaceuticals.

“We were generous with the aspartame, MSG, syrups and coloring we added to your anti-biotic, pesticide and hormone-infused main courses along with their sides of GMO starches. Is it any wonder you are feeling the effects?

“Your exposure has been minimal, relatively speaking, and you will be relieved to know that today you are being served the organic vegetables and fruits that will begin to restore your health.”

Two of the limo drivers in dark suits and caps approached the podium. One was setting up a laptop and projector. The curtains parted at the back of the stage and in a moment one of them had started a presentation.

“While your oil, gas and coal companies are fouling our atmosphere and raining asthma on our kids, while you send our children to risk their lives as your soldiers to destroy other cultures and steal their resources — all under the guise of ‘National Security,’ here is what you keep secret from the people!”

He proceeded to show footage from laboratories around the world pulling electricity from the air, generating it with magnets, boiling water almost instantaneously with copper coils in beautiful geometric configurations.

A maid joined the crew at the mic, saying:

“My husband, my daughter and many of my friends have died of cancer while you have bullied, threatened or killed many inventors who had developed real cures.”

The screen showed numerous doctors and researchers with a flood of before and after X-rays showing the disappearance of various tumors and diseased cells.

A waiter stepped to the front and looked over the participants:

“Our children will go to the schools of their choice — or assemble their own education. They will not be squashed into your molds. They will be able to celebrate their curiosity, creativity and natural collaboration.

“They will learn real history, authentic science, useful skills and real philosophy rather than be propagandized into becoming mere robotic consumers or cogs in the banking-government-military-industrial corporatocracy. They will be nurtured in recognizing, honoring and restoring the wholeness of natural systems — from energy to agriculture, from media to economics and justice.”

One of the janitors from the hotel chimed in:

“We have been instructed not to look you in the eyes — not to say or ask anything unless spoken to by you. Well, there’s not enough you could pay us or threaten us to keep us quiet any longer.

“While you were stealing our hard earned wages around the world through inflation, bailouts, fraud, fiat counterfeit, fake trade agreements, taxation, rigged markets and outright theft, we watched you building your walled cities, co-opting the military and intelligence agencies to protect you. We have had enough. See the sprinklers in the ceilings?

“Behind them are sophisticated spy cameras like the ones you use on everyone, but this time they have been aimed at you. We and our allies in other hotels have been patiently recording the proceedings of these meetings for years and the highlights are beginning to stream around the global Internet as I speak to you.

“The truth will always have its day… and today is that day. We do not come to hurt you, as you have done to so many. But justice calls for reconciliation and restitution.”

The concierge of the hotel was the last one to approach the podium.

“We have many special guests here today. They have been watching this morning’s proceedings on monitors in the lobby. They were invited here as a surprise for your final day’s celebration and now they will join us.”

The guards opened doors around the ballroom and people of all ages started flowing in. It became apparent that they were spouses, siblings, children and grandchildren of the members of the Bilderberg group.

“Today, finally, titles and money don’t matter. Starting now, the primary currency is changing from power, force and deception to trust, virtue and character. Your New World Order will not be the totalitarian pyramid of global coercion you have envisioned, but one based on merit and caring, on authenticity and freedom for every single being on the planet — as long as they do no harm.

“There are healthy solutions rising in every sector. The X Factor is everywhere. There is no leader. There is no regime or capital. Just the shared principles of integrity, non-aggression and self-ownership.

“Please gather your belongings and vacate the premises,” he continued. “This meeting is over, and a new way of life is beginning for humanity and this planet, our home. You will be regaining your strength over the next several weeks.

“Hopefully you will appreciate it, for you are going to need it to make amends with the rest of your life. ‘Bilderberg’ is supposed to mean ‘a community of builders.’ Let’s get started on that.

“You will be held personally accountable for what you have done and also for what you do from this day forward. Perhaps you can share with your children on your way home what you are going to be doing to set all of this right. We will be in touch. The whole world is watching.”

I could hardly believe what I had just witnessed. Oh, man, I’m thinking… did this all really happen? The details all seemed so real…

But hey, what do I know? I’m just a fly on the wall in some old guy’s dream.

Doctors Warning: “Avoid Smart Meter Radiation”

The American Academy of Environmental Medicine (AAEM), an “international association of physicians and other professionals interested in the clinical aspects of humans and their environment,” have released recommendations for patients with a broad array of illnesses and symptoms to avoid exposure to digital smart meters now being deployed internationally by governments and utilities.

The recommendation, which includes reference to 20 peer-reviewed studies showing biological harm from wireless technologies, indicates that patients with neurological, neurodegenerative diseases, genetic defects, cancer, and other conditions would benefit from avoiding pulsed RF radiation from smart meters.  The recommendation says:

“Physicians of the American Academy of Environmental Medicine recognize that patients are being adversely impacted by electromagnetic frequency (EMF) and radiofrequency (RF) fields and are becoming more electromagnetically sensitive.

The AAEM recommends: that no Smart Meters be on these patients’ homes, (and) that Smart Meters be removed within a reasonable distance of patients’ homes…”

This medical testimony is yet one more arrow in the quiver of those fighting the smart grid on medical disability and accessibility grounds.  For those who suffer pain or ill effects from smart meter microwave radiation, the very least accommodation that the utility must provide is a zone of safety around one’s home.  Any less can constitute forcible eviction and is a clear violation of human rights.

There is no “opt out” or “free choice” when the meter on your neighbor’s house 10 feet away is blasting you 24/7 and you are in agony in your own home.  The AAEM’s medical recommendation asserts this basic fact and will now enter into play in state commission proceedings on the smart meter health issue nationally and internationally.

Because wireless can also cause illnesses and sensitivities, those who are healthy also have the right to avoid exposure.   And of course no one- sick or healthy should have to pay a penalty protection racket fee simply to protect their own safety.

The Center for Electrosmog Prevention suggests that people consider filing a discrimination complaint with the federal government if utilities fail to accommodate these medical requirements.

In Europe, more than 1,300 chemicals are banned from use in lotions, soaps, toothpaste, cosmetics, and other personal care products. Contrast that to in the US, where just 11 are banned.1

Adding insult to injury, the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) tasks the companies that manufacture and market cosmetics and other personal care products with ensuring their safety. 

Not only does this pose an obvious conflict of interest, but “neither the law nor FDA regulations require specific tests to demonstrate the safety of individual products or ingredients.”2

The average US women uses 12 personal care products and/or cosmetics a day, containing 168 different chemicals, according to the Environmental Working Group (EWG). There are other chemicals risks as well, like those lurking in your household cleaning products, food packaging, furniture, and carpeting.

Dr. Julia Brody, executive director of the Silent Spring Institute, is among those speaking out against environmental chemicals and the risk they pose to human health, and in particular to women’s health.

About 80 percent of the women who develop breast cancer, for instance, have no family history of the disease. Environmental chemicals, including those that disrupt your body’s hormone systems (endocrine-disrupting chemicals) are thought to play a significant role.3

Which Household Products Should You Avoid?

Silent Spring has identified multiple chemicals groups that you’re better off avoiding to protect your health. This includes chemicals common in household items you may currently be using everyday:

  1. Fragrances in Cleaning and Personal Care Products

Fragranced products are almost always loaded with synthetic chemicals that have been linked to cancer, reproductive toxicity, allergies, and more. Some common offenders lurking in “fragrance” include:

  • Parabens: Synthetic preservatives known to interfere with hormone production and release.
  • Phthalates: Another synthetic preservative that’s carcinogenic and linked to adverse reproductive effects (decreased sperm counts, early breast development, and birth defects) and liver and kidney damage.
  • Synthetic musks: These are linked to hormone disruption and are thought to persist and accumulate in breast milk, body fat, umbilical cord blood, and the environment.

According to the Environmental Working Group (EWG):4

“An analysis of the chemical contents of products reveals that the innocuous-looking ‘fragrance’ often contains chemicals linked to negative health effects. 

Phthalates, used to make fragrances last longer, are associated [with] damage to the male reproductive system, and artificial musks accumulate in our bodies and can be found in breast milk. Some artificial musks are even linked to cancer.

And if you’ve got asthma, watch out – fragrance formulas are considered to be among the top 5 known allergens, and can trigger asthma attacks.

The same kinds of chemicals are often used for fragrances in cleaning products, scented candles, and air fresheners. To avoid those unpleasant side effects, choose fragrance-free products, but beware labels that say ‘unscented.’ It may only mean that the manufacturer has added yet another fragrance to mask the original odor.”

  1. Vinyl Products

You know the smell that seeps out when you take a brand new plastic or vinyl shower curtain out of its package? That’s due to the polyvinyl chloride (PVC) it’s made out of.

This is a significant source of exposure to chemicals known as phthalates, which are used as plasticizers in everything from vinyl flooring to detergents, hoses, raincoats, adhesives, air fresheners, and toys — and even in some soaps, shampoos, lotions, and nail polish. 

Phthalates are one of the groups of “gender-bending” chemicals causing males of all species to become more female.

These chemicals have disrupted the endocrine systems of wildlife, causing testicular cancer, genital deformations, low sperm counts, and infertility in a number of species, including polar bears, deer, whales, and otters, just to name a few. Scientists believe phthalates are responsible for a similar pattern in humans as well, and they have been linked to:

Impaired ovulatory cycles and polycystic ovary disease (PCOS) “Decreased dysgenesis syndrome”: A syndrome involving cryptorchidism (undescended testicles), hypospadias (birth defect in which opening of urethra is on the underside of the penis instead of at the end), and oligospermia (low sperm count), and testicular cancer
Interference with sexual differentiation in utero Enlarged prostate glands
Disturbed lactation Numerous hormonal disruptions
Early or delayed puberty Breast cancer and uterine fibroids

Research conducted by the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) discovered high levels of phthalates in all 289 adult Americans tested, and the levels of some phthalates in women of childbearing age exceeded the government’s safe levels set to protect against birth defects, leading scientists to conclude phthalate exposures are “much higher and more common than previously suspected.5

This is why it makes sense to choose a fabric shower curtain (or install glass doors) in lieu of a vinyl one, as well as avoid other common vinyl products in your home.

  1. Antimicrobials (Triclosan)

Antibacterial soap and certain toothpastes contain an antibacterial chemical called triclosan, which has been linked to concerns over antibiotic resistance and endocrine disruption.

Some animal studies showed that triclosan caused fetal bone malformations in mice and rats, which may hint at hormonal effects. Triclosan has also been found to cause estrogenic activities in human breast cancer cells, which may stimulate the growth and development of cancer cells.6

Further, as noted by Professor Caren Helbing Ph.D. at the University of Victoria in Canada, the chemical structure of triclosan is similar to thyroid hormones and polychlorinated biphenyls (PCBs).

This similarity allows it to attach to hormone receptors. Helbing’s research shows that tadpoles exposed to triclosan suffered stunted development and leg deformations. The metamorphic process these frogs undergo is mediated by thyroid hormones.

Her findings were published in the Journal of Aquatic Toxicology in 2006, which concluded, “Exposure to low levels of triclosan disrupts thyroid hormone-associated gene expression and can alter the rate of thyroid hormone-mediated postembryonic anuran development.”7

  1. Stain-Resistant Furniture Sprays and Clothing

Perfluorinated compounds (PFCs) include PFOA, which was widely used to make non-stick cookware, and PFOS, which was a key ingredient in stain-resistant fabrics. These chemicals have been linked to so many health problems – cancer, miscarriages, thyroid problems, and more – that they’ve been phased out in the US and essentially banned in Europe.

The problem is that PFCs, which are scientifically known as poly- and perfluoroalkyl substances (PFASs), are a family of chemicals, and PFOA and PFOS make up only two of them. The products being used in their place are structurally similar and likely pose many of the same health and environmental risks. EWG’s report on these global contaminants revealed numerous health risks, including:

Cancer Hypothyroidism
Reproductive problems Birth defects
Immune system problems Organ damage
  1. Parabens

Parabens are chemicals found in deodorants and other cosmetics that have been shown to mimic the action of the female hormone estrogen, which can drive the growth of human breast tumors. A study published in 2012 suggested that parabens from antiperspirants and other cosmetics indeed appear to increase your risk of breast cancer.8

The research looked at where breast tumors were appearing and determined that higher concentrations of parabens were found in the upper quadrants of the breast and axillary area, where antiperspirants are usually applied. Parabens inhibit the growth of bacteria, yeast, and molds, and are used as preservatives in countless consumer products, including:

Deodorants and antiperspirants Shampoos and conditioners Shaving gel Toothpaste
Lotions and sunscreens Make-up / cosmetics Pharmaceutical drugs Food additives

Bisphenol-A (BPA) Linked to Prostate Cancer

BPA, widely used in plastics, cash register receipts, and canned goods, has been linked to a number of health concerns, particularly in pregnant women, fetuses, and young children, but also in adults, including:

Structural damage to your brain Changes in gender-specific behavior and abnormal sexual behavior
Hyperactivity, increased aggressiveness, and impaired learning Early puberty, stimulation of mammary gland development, disrupted reproductive cycles, ovarian dysfunction, and infertility
Increased fat formation and risk of obesity Stimulation of prostate cancer cells
Altered immune function Increased prostate size and decreased sperm production

BPA coats about 75 percent of cans in North America, which means if you eat canned foods, it’s likely a major source ofBPA exposure for you. Even BPA-free cans and plastics may not be safe, as they often contain a similar chemical known as BPS. However, aside from being a known endocrine disrupter, BPA also appears to play a role in prostate cancer. Research involving an “organoid” grown from embryonic stem cells, which has all the same biomarkers as an adult organ, found low-dose exposure to BPA lead to a proliferation of prostate stem cells.9

An abnormally high number of stem cells is a known risk factor for cancer development. Study author Professor Gail Prins, from the University of Illinois in Chicago, told Yahoo:10

“The higher number of stem cells we saw in developing organoids given very low doses of BPA may be the underlying mechanism by which BPA increases the risk for prostate cancer… This is as definitive as it gets, when it comes to the effect of BPA on the developing prostate. It produces an abnormally high number of prostate stem cells in the tissue, and these nests are a strong candidate for why exposure to BPA during development has been linked to prostate cancer later in life.”

Chemicals in Household Dust Linked to Obesity

When your home is filled with goods that contain potentially toxic chemicals, where do you think those chemicals end up when they come out of carpeting, couch cushions, and the like? Many of them end up in household dust, which is why those dust bunnies accumulating in the corners can be among the most toxic concoctions of all. Young children, in particular, may ingest about 50 milligrams of household dust a day, making it an important pathway by which people are exposed to environmental contaminants.11

New research published in Environmental Science & Technology even revealed that 28 of 30 semi-volatile compounds commonly found in indoor dust were PPARgamma (peroxisome proliferator-activated nuclear receptor gamma) antagonists. This means they could bind to and activate PPARgamma, which is involved in regulating fat metabolism, cell proliferation, and cell death.12 The researchers believe such chemical exposures may play a key role in the development of obesity. As reported by Futurity:13

“The researchers found signs of significant PPARgamma activation in more than half of the 25 dust samples collected from homes, offices, and gyms, at a level of exposure that would be similar to a child’s daily dose.”

Watch Out for Chemicals in Children’s School Supplies

Even back-to-school items geared toward children are not free from environmental chemicals, and such items may even be among the worst offenders. Shiny plastic backpacks are often made from PVC, for instance, and phthalates are widespread in backpacks and 3-ring binders.14 BPA is commonly used in lunchboxes and plastic water bottles for students, and even BPA-free models may contain similar endocrine disruptors.

Even some crayons imported from China may be contaminated with asbestos (best to stick with US-made crayons to avoid this). Finally, resist the urge to send your child to school with hand sanitizer, as many contain antimicrobial chemicals that may harm thyroid function and encourage antibiotic resistance. Teach your child that washing with soap and water is best. When selecting school supplies for your children, EWG recommends the following safer options:15

Notebooks and binders made from recycled cardboard or other natural fibers (look for “no PVC” on the label) Recycled paper products Water-based glues, glue sticks or “school glue” in lieu of stronger adhesives

19 More Tips to Reduce Your Chemical Exposure at Home

A great way to identify harmful chemicals on a personal care product label, learn what the research says, and to begin choosing safer alternatives is to take the women’s health challenge from Naturally Savvy.

Additionally, implementing the following measures will help you avoid the worst endocrine-disrupting culprits as well as other chemicals from a wide variety of sources. To sum it up, try to stick with whole foods and natural products around your home. The fewer ingredients a product contains, the better, and try to make sure anything you put on or in your body – or use around your home – contains only substances you’re familiar with. If you can’t pronounce it, you probably don’t want it anywhere near your family.

  1. As much as possible, buy and eat organic produce and free-range, organic meats to reduce your exposure to added hormones, pesticides, and fertilizers. Also avoid milk and other dairy products that contain the genetically engineered recombinant bovine growth hormone (rBGH or rBST).
  2. Rather than eating conventional or farm-raised fish, which are often heavily contaminated with PCBs and mercury, supplement with a high-quality purified krill oil, or eat smaller fish or fish that is wild-caught and lab tested for purity. Wild-caught Alaskan salmon is about the only fish I eat for these reasons.
  3. Buy products that come in glass bottles or jars rather than plastic or canned, since chemicals can leach out of plastics and into the contents.
  4. Store your food and beverages in glass rather than plastic, and avoid using plastic wrap.
  5. Use glass baby bottles and avoid plastic sippy cups for your little ones.
  6. Eat mostly raw, fresh foods. Processed, prepackaged foods (of all kinds) are a common source of chemicals such as BPA and phthalates.
  7. Replace your non-stick pots and pans with ceramic or glass cookware.
  8. Filter your tap water — both for drinking and bathing. If you can only afford to do one, filtering your bathing water may be more important, as your skin absorbs contaminants. To remove the endocrine-disrupting herbicide Atrazine, make sure the filter is certified to remove it. According to the Environmental Working Group (EWG), perchlorate can be filtered out using a reverse osmosis filter.
  9. Look for products that are made by companies that are earth-friendly, animal-friendly, green, non-toxic, and/or 100% organic. This applies to everything from food and personal care products to building materials, carpeting, paint, baby items, upholstery, and more.
  10. Use a vacuum cleaner with a HEPA filter to remove house dust, which is often contaminated with traces of chemicals.
  11. When buying new products such as furniture, mattresses, or carpet padding, ask what type of fire retardant it contains. Be mindful of and/or avoid items containing PBDEs, antimony, formaldehyde, boric acid, and other brominated chemicals. As you replace these toxic items around your home, select those that contain naturally less flammable materials, such as leather, wool, and cotton.
  12. Avoid stain- and water-resistant clothing, furniture, and carpets to avoid perfluorinated chemicals (PFCs).
  13. Minimize your use of plastic baby and child toys, opting for those made of natural wood or fabric instead.
  14. Only use natural cleaning products in your home or make your own. Avoid products that contain 2-butoxyethanol (EGBE) and methoxydiglycol (DEGME) — two toxic glycol ethers that can damage fertility and cause fetal harm.16
  15. Switch over to organic brands of toiletries such as shampoo, toothpaste, antiperspirants, and cosmetics. You can replace many different products with coconut oil and baking soda, for example. EWG has a great database17 to help you find personal care products that are free of phthalates and other potentially dangerous chemicals.   16. Replace feminine hygiene products like tampons and sanitary pads with safer alternatives.

  19. Replace your vinyl shower curtain with one made of fabric.

When it comes to herbal remedies, many of us are familiar with the benefits of Echinacea or purple cone flower as an antibiotic, willow bark as a pain killer and aloe as a topical anesthetic and treatment for skin conditions. But that’s common knowledge compared to the insights and treatments that Native American medicine men discovered and used.Native American medicine men developed a wheel very similar to the yin/yang of Asian medicine. Here’s the list:

1. Alfalfa: Relieves digestion and is used to aid blood clotting. Contemporary uses included treatment of arthritis, bladder and kidney conditions and bone strength. Enhances the immune system.

2. Aloe: A cactus-like plant. The thick leaves can be squeezed to extrude a thick sap that can be used to treat burns, insect bites and wounds.

3. Aspen: The inner bark or xylem is used in a tea to treat fever, coughs and pain. It contains salicin, which also is found in willow trees and is the foundation ingredient for aspirin.

4. Bee pollen: When mixed with food it can boost energy, aid digestion and enhance the immune system. If you’re allergic to bee stings you will most likely be allergic to bee pollen.

5. Beeswax: Used as a salve for burns and insect bites, including bee stings. Intended to only be used externally.

6. Blackberry: The root, bark and leaves when crushed and infused in a tea are used to treat diarrhea, reduce inflammation and stimulate the metabolism. As a gargle it treats sore throats, mouth ulcers and inflammation of the gums.

7. Black Raspberry: The roots of this plant are crushed and used as a tea or boiled and chewed to relieve coughs, diarrhea and general intestinal distress.

8. Buckwheat: The seeds are used in soups and as porridge to lower blood pressure, help with blood clotting and relieve diarrhea.

9. Cayenne: The pods are used as a pain reliever when taken with food or drunk in a tea. Also used to threat arthritis and digestive distress. It is sometimes applied to wounds as a powder to increase blood flow and act as an antiseptic and anesthetic to numb the pain.

10. Chamomile: The leaves and flowers are used as a tea to treat intestinal problems and nausea.

11. Chokecherry: Considered by Native American tribes as an all-purpose medicinal treatment, the berries were pitted, dried and crushed into a tea or a poultice to treat a variety of ailments. These include coughs, colds, flu, nausea, inflammation and diarrhea. As a salve or poultice it is used to treat burns and wounds. The pit of the chokecherry – much like apple seeds – are poisonous in high concentrations. Be sure to pit the cherries if you’re considering this for any use.

12. Echinacea: Also known as purple coneflower, this is a classic Native American medicine that is used to strengthen the immune system, fight infections and fever. It also is used as an antiseptic and general treatment for colds, coughs and flu.

13. Eucalyptus: The oil from the leaves and roots is a common treatment when infused in a tea to treat coughs, sore-throat, flu and fever. It’s used to this day as an ingredient in cough drops.

14. Fennel: A plant with a licorice flavor, this is used in a tea or chewed to relieve coughs, sore-throat, aid digestion, offer relief to diarrhea and was a general treatment for colds. It also is used as a poultice for eye relief and headaches.

15. Feverfew: Used to this day as a natural relief for fever and headaches – including severe headaches like migraines – it also can be used for digestive problems, asthma and muscle and joint pains.

16. Feverwort: Another fever remedy that also is used for general pain, itching and joint stiffness. It can be ingested as a tea or chewed, or crushed to a paste as a salve or poultice.

17. Ginger root: Another super plant in Native American medicine, the root was crushed and consumed with food, as a tea or a salve or poultice. Known to this day for its ability to aid digestive health, it also is anti-inflammatory, aids circulation and can relieve colds, coughs and flu, in addition to bronchitis and joint pain.

18. Ginseng: This is another contemporary herb that has a history that goes back across cultures for millennia. The roots were used by Native Americans as a food additive, a tea and a poultice to treat fatigue, boost energy, enhance the immune system and help with overall liver and lung function. The leaves and stems also were used, but the root has the most concentration of active ingredients.

19. Goldenrod: Commonly thought of today as a source of allergies and sneezing, it was actually considered another all-in-one medicine by Native Americans. As a tea, an addition to food and a topical salve, it is used to treat conditions from bronchitis and chest congestion to colds, flu, inflammation, sore throats and as an antiseptic for cuts and abrasions.

20. Honeysuckle: The berries, stems, flowers and leaves are used to topically treat bee stings and skin infections. As a tea, it is used to treat colds, headaches and sore throat. It also has anti-inflammatory properties.

21. Hops: As a tea it is used to treat digestive problems and often mixed with other herbs or plants, such as aloe, to soothe muscles. It also is used to soothe toothaches and sore throat.

22. Licorice: Roots and leaves can be used for coughs, colds, sore throats. The root also can be chewed to relieve toothaches.

23. Mullein: As an infusion in tea or added to a salad or other food, this is a plant that has been used by Native Americans to treat inflammation, coughs and congestion and general lung afflictions. It is quite common and you probably have it growing in your backyard or somewhere close.

24. Passion flower: The leaves and roots are used to make a tea to treat anxiety and muscle pain. A poultice for injuries to the skin such as burns, insect bites and boils also can be made from passion flower.

25. Red clover: It grows everywhere and the flowers, leaves and roots are usually infused in a tea or are used to top food. It is used to manage inflammation, improve circulation and treat respiratory conditions.

26. Rose hip: This is the red to orange berry that is the fruit of wild roses. It is already known to be a massive source of vitamin C and when eaten whole, crushed into a tea or added to food it is used to treat colds and coughs, intestinal distress, as an antiseptic and to treat inflammation.

27. Rosemary: A member of the pine family and used in food and as a tea to treat muscle pain, improve circulation and as a general cleanser for the metabolism.

28. Sage: A far-reaching shrub across much of North America, it is a natural insect repellent and can be used for the standard list of digestive disorders, colds and sore throat.

29. Spearmint: Used consistently by Native American tribes for treatment of coughs, colds, respiratory distress and as a cure for diarrhea and a stimulant for blood circulation.

30. Valerian: The root as an infusion in a tea relieves muscle aches, pain and is said to have a calming effect.

31. White Pine: Ubiquitous and the needles and the inner bark can be infused in a tea. Used as a standard treatment for respiratory distress and chest congestion.

If you’re an expert on Native American cures I’m sure you can add many to this list. There are some excellent books on nature’s cures and the specific medicinal properties that Native American tribes discovered. World-Class Scientists Condemn Both Health Canada and Safety Code 6
Why Won’t Dr. Perry Kendall Act to Protect British Columbians
?

 

Wake up municipal governments, moms and dads, grandma’s and grandpa’s, and decent, trusting people everywhere!
Remember tobacco, asbestos, Thalidomide etc.?
Well, now it’s “low-level, pulsed, non-thermal radio frequency (RF) radiation that is harming us, which no one can escape – not even those earnest but misguided people who say wireless is harmless!  Microwave frequencies penetrate walls and most building materials with impunity, and frequencies in the 700 MHz band easily penetrate down into underground concrete parking lots and elevator shafts!  For clarification: RF or radio frequencies include microwave frequencies.

Health Canada, the BC Government, CWTA, BCUC and BC’s Provincial Health Officer are not telling the truth about the very real dangers of the ‘low-level, pulsed, non-thermal RF radiation  (that) Smart Meters,  baby monitors,  Wi-Fi,  cell phones,  cordless phones,  tablet and laptop computers etc. all emit.
Not one credible peer-reviewed study exists – done by non-industry scientists – that shows cell phones do not harm people – especially children and pregnant women!
Not one scientist – anywhere – knows what constitutes a SAFE level of low-level, pulsed, non-thermal RF radiation for an embryo, a child, a teenager, a pregnant woman, a sick elderly person, etc. to be constantly exposed to on a 24/7/365 basis!
Tragically for all British Columbians, our own Provincial Health Officer, Dr. Perry Kendall, has shown for these past 16 years that he still unable or unwilling to believe this!  Surely he can accept the following?

     The German government has recommended that the use of Wi-Fi in the workplace or home should be avoided where possible!

     Los Angeles has reduced student exposure to Wi-Fi radiation to 10,000 times below the US government’s recommended standard (which is virtually the same as Health Canada’s egregiously high Safety Code 6)!  

     France has banned Wi-Fi from all kindergarten schools in the country!  In other schools, Wi-Fi routers must be turned off when not actually in use!

     Literally hundreds of scientists world-wide condemn Health Canada’s Safety Code 6 and urge Health Canada to start protecting Canadians!

     Dr. Perry Kendall, like Health Canada and the other Regulatory Agencies tasked with protecting the public, refuses to acknowledge that NON-THERMAL radiation can harm people, flora and fauna!

     Dr. Perry Kendall and B.C.’s Minister of Health don’t seem to realize that Safety Code 6 provides no protection whatsoever against NON-THERMAL radiation.  It recognizes only THERMAL radiation!

     Over 200 world-class scientists recently issued a Press Release calling on the United Nations and the WHO to stop this insane irradiation of the entire population with excessive amounts (levels) of low-level, pulsed non-thermal RF radiation!

·       The Canadian Medical Association Journal, in May 2015, slammed both Health Canada and its globally-vilified Safety Code 6!

·       Berkeley, California’s City Council, in May 2015, voted 9-0 approving an ordinance making it the first city in the USA in which merchants must now provide customers buying cell phones with written documentation showing how much radiation specific cell phones emit and the distance users are cautioned to keep cell phones away from any part of their body!  San Francisco had attempted to do the same in 2010 but CTIA, the powerful trade and lobbying organization for the cell phone industry, sued San Francisco on grounds that informing citizens of possible health risks from cell phones violates manufacturers’ 1st Amendment Constitutional rights.  They claim that disclosing manufacturers’ own safe-use precautions (which are currently hidden in the fine print of user manuals) and offering consumers facts regarding possible health risks from their products is illegal.  Three years later, in 2013, the City caved in rather than incur further legal costs and scrapped the ordinance.

§  In Canada, opposition to Wi-Fi in schools includes, in part:

Ø  English Teachers Federation of Ontario (76,000 members) want radiation from Wi-Fi and cell phones to be recognized as a hazard!

Ø  Canadian Teachers Federation (200,000 members) calls for public education on ways to avoid Wi-Fi exposures and how to avoid using it.

Ø  Ontario’s English Catholic Teachers Association (45,000 members) calls for ban on Wi-Fi in schools.

Ø  B.C’s Confederation of Parent Advisory Councils (BCCPAC) representing over 500,000 parents calls on Board of Education to have one public school at each educational level that is free of Wi-Fi    and to stop installing Wi-Fi when hard-wired technologies are an option. [4]

For those unable/unwilling to accept the above, please note that the Soviet/Russian and American militaries, in particular, have known for decades that frequencies within the 900 MHz to 5 GHz band penetrate all organ systems of the body and thus put all human organs at risk. 

It is known that these frequencies are especially harmful to the human brain, central nervous system and immune system. 

Yet it is in this very band of frequencies that Industry Canada has seen fit to authorize all of today’s wireless radio products, including baby monitors, Smart Meters etc. to operate!
It was and is Industry Canada’s responsibility to know that major militaries of the world have since the 1950s been developing Electronic Warfare weapons that utilize these very same frequencies because of their known potential to confuse, immobilize, disable, harm and even kill people!

Because non-thermal, non-ionizing electromagnetic radiation (EMR) is such an incredibly complex and obscure subject matter, and because RF radiation is invisible and virtually undetectable to all but a miniscule number of people having access to highly-specialized radiation metering equipment, it should be expected that no government knows of the dangers that accompany any wireless radio transmitting system – especially those emitting low-level, pulsed, non-thermal microwave or RF radiation!  Which is precisely what all of today’s wireless devices emit! 

Health authorities, in particular, need to understand that militaries have long considered microwaves to be the ‘perfect weapon’ – because no one can see, smell, taste, hear of touch them – and they leave no trace of evidence!

Prof. Olle Johansson of the world-famous Karolinska Institute in Sweden (where Nobel Prizes are awarded) estimates that the amount of man-made EMR now in our environment is at least 10-Billion times more than it was in the 1960s!  It has even caused the World Health Organization to coin the term “Electro-smog.” 

Scientists the world over know there is a direct correlation between the exponential increase in all of today’s major diseases and the corresponding growth in wireless radio devices now flooding our society – all of which, criminally, are permitted to emit their toxic radiation on the most lethal radio frequencies known to man!

Tragically, industry has been – and continues to be – astonishingly successful in influencing, manipulating and controlling technologically ignorant, naive and gullible governments who, one day, will realize that they have allowed themselves to become agents of industry and enemies of the people

Knowledge is power! And, as happened with tobacco, governments and the public will eventually become ‘enlightened,’ and this wireless ‘experiment’ will, mercifully, be terminated – but at what terrible cost to society?  Whatever those costs, the real tragedy is that they will be borne by the same hapless, helpless, trusting and defenseless people who were the victims of their own government’s ignorance and malfeasance! 

Sooner rather than later, this insane crime against humanity must stop!  Governments must accept that wireless radio devices that have not been independently tested for safety belong only in the realm of the militaries of the world, while allowing medical health researchers to continue their pure research – provided it is solely for the betterment of man. 

Wherever and whenever practicable, only wired technologies should be permitted in communities of any size in which people live, work, play, are educated and cared for.  I am available to answer questions and will share my own 500-plus slide presentation, free of charge, to anyone wanting it.  The evidence is there for all to see; one has only to look!

Now this is very interesting!  My car’s manual says to roll down the windows to let out all the hot air before turning on the A/C. WHY ?
No wonder more folks are dying from cancer than ever before..  We wonder where this stuff comes from, but here is an example that explains a lot of the cancer-causing incidents.Many people are in their cars the first thing in the morning, and the last thing at night, 7 days a week.As I read this, it makes me feel guilty and ill.  Please pass this on to as many people as possible.  Guess, it’s not too late to make some changes.Please do NOT turn on A/C as soon as you enter the car. Open the windows after you enter your car and then after a couple of minutes, turn ON the AC .Here’s why:  According to research, the car’s dashboard, seats, a/c ducts, in fact ALL of the plastic objects in your vehicle, emit Benzene, a Cancer causing toxin.  A BIG CARCINOGEN.  Take the time to observe the smell of heated plastic in your car when you open it, and BEFORE you start it up. In addition to causing cancer, Benzene poisons your bones, causes anemia and reduces white blood cells.  Prolonged exposure can cause Leukemia and increases the risk of some cancers.  It can also cause miscarriages in pregnant women.The “acceptable” Benzene level indoors is: 50mg per sq.ft.A car parked indoors, with windows closed, will contain 400-800 mg of Benzene – 8 times the acceptable level..If parked outdoors in the sun, at a temperature above 60 degrees F, the Benzene level goes up to 2000-4000 mg, 40 times the acceptable level. People who get into the car, keeping the windows closed, will eventually inhale excessive amounts of the BENZENE toxin.Benzene is a toxin that affects your kidneys and liver.
